I on both with high performance turn on. Still happily with the battery life performance.

Dunno who decide default FHD, this is seriously wrong as the QHD setting not impact very much on battery life at all.

The one decide and the one agree shall be sacked.

Hard reset is unnecessary, I never ever do this.

But setup as new phone is highly recommended. Don't restore backup from others model phone.

It is not required to hard reset and it help nothing.

Just setup phone as new phone and don't restore backup from different phone model and by doing so will prevent any weird issue and battery drain issue.

Reset just waste of time, only reset if it is 2nd hand phone.

It still is original just possible is user return unit or refurnished set (I think still too earlier got refurnished).

Check whether got red tint issue or not, if yes then possible is user return unit.

Gboard not support Chinese. You need to download another separate Google pinyin keyboard.
