QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 31 2017, 08:40 AM) Installing dashcam would not void warranty, if you only use the cigarette lighter plug. If you tap directly on the fusebox though... Not really sure on that. isr25, I remember the SA told me, need to get an adapter for cigarette lighter plug. So, Anker car charger is compatible with the socket ? Which model is this ?I'm using the Viofo A119 for my dashcam and it's connected directly to an Anker car charger. For your dash cam, did you DIY or ask some shop to do ? Thanks in advance. |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 31 2017, 10:03 AM) Actually for the A119, the cigarette power plug that came with it already has 2 USB ports - one for the dashcam, and you could use the other port for other purpose. I used the Anker 4 port USB car charger like this for my use. They may have updated designs and features of course. I previously bought from Lazada, but can't seem to find it anymore though... It's significantly more powerful (up to 2.1A or QC compatible) than the default USB ports on the car, so my phone and devices charge faster. OK, I probably won't need many USB ports. I am not a DIY person, scare might break something LOL.Dashcam, I did it on my own following guides from Youtube. Very simple, and doable without using any extra tools. You have to be quite brave in pulling out the rubber at your doors though, but it's simple enough to push it back in. I route it at the passenger side, and stick the cables underneath the glovebox. Thanks again bro. |

QUOTE(mengga @ Aug 3 2017, 10:59 PM) My booking and delivery process takes less than 10 days for Civic 1.8. The day that my loan was approved, someone else's loan was rejected. As I am not very color-centric person, I just take his/her car that was reserved for him/her. Loan approved last wednesday, car arrived yesterday. Congratulations !I really love the car, the BRAKE HOLD function alone allows me a relaxing drive on heavy traffic, not worrying that my car might unneccessary move forward or backward onto other people's car. P/S : I did not meet a lot of Rubies on the road. It seems so, red colour is not so popular. I have seen other colours around my area but not red. In fact my SA told me, they have a few reds in stock. It was awhile ago, not sure if still available now. QUOTE(jimmyhao1 @ Aug 3 2017, 11:23 PM) What if this month the car not arrive? in my booking form it stated will deliver within a month but alrdy more than a month still no news sigh You can cancel the booking and get your money back. If pay by credit card, have to pay credit card charges. The trick is the find Honda dealer which can deliver soon or the best if have ready stock. In my search for Civic, I found out some dealers give excuse like CRV production ramp up, less Civic, have to wait for several months. I think they are probably overbook and they are not telling. |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 6 2017, 08:40 PM) Or driving to Singapore without using data for Waze My HU Applications : Ver.1.F194.44To be honest, only the LED headlights is the main reason why I took the TC-P. The rest are just nice to have. But since I have dual aircond, I put the temperature on passenger side differently then mine while I drive alone - just to use the feature One thing about the Garmin though - it records every single drive you make for the past 2 weeks iinm (navigation, apps, where i've been) One other thing - for those who just received the car, what firmware is your HU? Mine is (info, system/device information, system info) Applications: Ver.1.F187.14 If it's a later version, do let us know so that we can request to upgrade the HU firmware when we send our car for service. Received my car on 14th July |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 8 2017, 08:06 AM) Oh... 1st day collected your car. Yes, mine also showed a reading, but the newer cars this time round just shows "-----" on the oil life balance. Mine showed 10,000km when I first collected it with 5km on the odometer. I recalled reading shows "-----" when I first drive my car. Just done 1st 1000 km service yesterday, now shows left 4500 km. Have been driving slowly but at times can not tahan, lol !I just wonder how they do service A, drain out engine oil and replace with new or just top up ? |

QUOTE(argronzoyuan @ Aug 9 2017, 12:01 AM) Mine today only become number instead of ---- Your Civic oil life is good. Reach 900km, oil life show 7900 (macam good if compare with ur ) maybe is due to i drive it from KL to JB when i got the car , smooth drive around 110+-km/h at highway , so far kinda light foot on pedal ~ most of the time rpm2000+ , got one or two times accidentally pass rpm3000 due to some special scenario. Any idea after how many Km only can push it a bit more ? Most likely I won't get this kind of figure. Mainly driving in a small town, not often go out of town and less on highway. Currently full tank petrol is about less than 400 km. This post has been edited by CPURanger: Aug 9 2017, 11:43 AM |

Guys, I am looking for an Android phone which is small ( less than 5"), that works well with Civic HU. I prefer iPhone as main phone but Apple Maps sucks. So plan to get a secondary android phone for Waze with prepaid.
Any suggestions ? |

QUOTE(syimalifmim @ Aug 14 2017, 10:54 PM) My SA told me about the new HIP, would include longer range towing and other benefits. However, since the new insurance policy is just implemented and starting in July, it was messy. They could not the get new calculations for the quotation out. So they give me the previous year's policy which I don't mind. Next year renew, will get this new policy. This post has been edited by CPURanger: Aug 15 2017, 09:50 AM |

QUOTE(zwanvedder @ Aug 15 2017, 03:27 PM) Yeah using Vkool myself. What can I do with the light sensor ? Cut a hole or something at the tint ? Wonder where is the light sensor ?It is rather irritating, Honda should provide manual switch on headlights option. Rather than default auto all the time. I don't mind manual switch. QUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 18 2017, 10:07 PM) I'm under 400 km on the odometer and fuel life has appeared and it's 4000 km 😰 Car is 3 weeks old. Wah... You press too much is it ? Or too much traffic jam ? Just guessing.[attachmentid=9057190] My odometer now is 1600 km with 4100 km oil life left. After driving more than a month. This post has been edited by CPURanger: Aug 19 2017, 08:26 AM |

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Aug 19 2017, 09:11 AM) After the 7 month of ownership experience, i do monitor my oil life every 100km will reset the trip Thanks for info. What i found is, if u press hard , go more faster , oil life wont drop easily, but if always drive slow, stuck in traffic jam, u will get very bad oil life I press harden at highway, even go 170mm/h (normal drive 70-90 only) , i can get over 200km odo , but my oil life stil haven drop 100km Hope my information help My driving pattern about 80% small town area & 20% highway. Probably that's why I can not get longer oil life. |

QUOTE(sojurn @ Sep 3 2017, 06:06 PM) Confirmed, no date setting. Only clock setting. This might help, try this. Set HU Wifi connection to your wifi or phone wifi hotspot. Wait for a while, it should auto sync. Usually android or most computer systems these days will sync time & date with internet time server. |
