Nop.. the reason why this phone price have to drop is more and more Walkman series model are coming out at the 2Q and they have to compete in the markets, phone from LG, Nokia, Samsung and Motorola have very competitive price nowadays..

If they dun reduce the price with their competitors, therefore they will lose..

I think this also a reason...

well.. w580 is also out for quite a while now.. almost a year i think.. so time to upgrade..

technology is changing..thats why all phones wiil dropped..

I am planning to get a 2nd hand w580.
Do you guyz think is ok? Quite worry about the slide part as well as the keypad.

i think its ok if u go for ori set.

This phone got alot of problem SE need to resolved...!!!

first the (*) key mine cant used since I bought it ... repaired once and spoiled again after 2 days!!!!

the key pad problem issued has been solved bu SE introducing thicker plastic!!!

the left multi function btton (the top of the U-turn button) always cant use!!! and problem!!!!

the nice light on the side some how shows 2 different colours (left yellow and right blue) software kua!!!!

always HANG!!!!! <--- DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

like th musig and sound like the screen like the size!!!!!! and of course like the slide!!!!!!!

u bought AP set or Ori set..? u can return the set and change it if u really occur so much problem.. is AP set then its too bad..

Anyway, my both softkey also broke adi, now like seesaw can play with it adi... light also showing two colours, n phone lags a lot nowadays... other than that nothing reli different from the day that i bought it...

sturdy phone though, one day i was climbing up the stairs with a stack of books in 1 hand n phone in other, i tripped on something n i slammed the phone onto the ground (headfirst) n no scratch at all... n the phone also has no difference..

if its ori set, just 1 time complaint all.. they will change everything for u for free.. normally i help claim after take back phone no problems oredy la..

try change some setting of the downloaded configuration.....but i forgot how to do it

I owned a S500i and I like the rubbery feel at the back of the phone. I'm thinking of getting a W580i also but wondered if the phone housing at the back also features rubbery surface? Can any W580i owner confirm me?
