On the argument about the "might" word there, dont u all realize that in every single deal whether it's stated or not the buyer only commits himself to the deal if the item is as described?

Lets say u did not say "I'll pay RM1100 but only if the item is in the condition described" and when u meet up to check the phone, it's in crappy condition with scratches all over
Will u still go through with the deal just because u didn't include the proper words when messaging the seller?

Actually from seller POV i wouldnt wait for u if i get a firm offer of 1.1K because u mention u pay depend on the condition after u see. Some buyer just like to make some lousy remark to buy the things cheaper. You might said u are not this type of ppl. But dont expect the seller to trust on ur words, is better be safe than sorry. And of course u also dont trust what the seller said regard the hp condition. So is normal human instinct. So he opt for firm cash rather than taking risk waiting for u "might/if" price.

I dont think is anyone fault here.

the problem here i think is the term of "condition", i think no one can descript the condition on the goods, like 99%, m.. what is the mean of 99% here? difference person have difference POV. for seller i subject you take some more pictures of the phone you are selling it.

for buyer, you can always ask for picture of the goods first, then you start to bid. and you won't have to open this port now.

just a personaly comments.

well, for me,i sold my acrox mouse yesterday, the seller offer me rm50,but after one hour, got one forumer offer me rm60,but i already told the rm50 buyer (also a forumer) to him in rm50,so,i lost rm10 lo....but anyway, the rm50 buyer CONFIRMED,and th rm60 is not.
Well,MIGHT is the keyword there...if COD,he MIGHT take a look of the phone first right?
if there is MIGHT,means the sale is not yet confirm...just a misunderstanding here....seller just want a CONFIRMED sale...

Quick grab meaning already confirm wanna buy at that price. Simple as that. Seller should provide full detail so that buyer can confirm the deal rather than might. Insecurity issue for both seller and buyer.

rm10 is a big amount for businness la..as a seller nimzai is right..he need to protect the 1.1k deal but buyer just 'might' pay but not confirmed 2 pay that amount..need to see the condition first..how about if there got a little bit scratch, than buyer want to reduce price? not fair la for the seller..i said this have happen 2 me b4..come from bangi to hard rock cafe to sell my fon to 1 amoi..i already said my fon work perfectly n already change to new housing.she agrreed to buy...when arrive she cancel the deal..reason? the fon is not in the original housing..she walk away just like that..just god know my feeling at that time..seem wanna caught her n f**k kaw-kaw...

That's it?
Then me think this thread should closed, there's nothing to dispute here, buyer cant accept seller's deal, so basically no deal. No deal = no dispute.
It's funny why TS still wanna create thread here.

1st of all.. i told u im still waiting for highest offer since ur offer is only rm1060 at dat time .. and u say u might not be paying rm1.1k for it .. u nid to judge the condition .. i told u my hp is in superb condition .. nothing for u to worry .. but u still dont trust me and did not confirm dat rm1.1k

And i dont see any problem selling it to another person due to higher offer .. tis is a business dude.. business is to earn money.. since u have no confident on me..and i feel so insecure coz u might just say da condition is bad even if its good and gave me a lousy offer ..

but i must say.. im really sorry to ruin ur schedule..

bro, quick grab mean both party agree the deal already, but in this case, buyer side not so confirm yet due to buyer need to justify by the condition.

quick grab? you can't opt to 'quick grab' at a unconfirmed price. If it's a quick grab, you pay the quick grab price.
