I was hopping to try before Christmas so I can decide if it is for me or not when they announce free trail. So sad they decide to leave PC behind.

My progress on pc really slow. First i tried lbg then hbg and now lb. control on pc really cluncky compare to other pc native games but it still a better experience for me when playing long range weapon.

Pretty easy to use range weapon with mouse and keyboard. But melee weapons on the other hand better to use controllers. Yeah not the best port, but still decent.

This weapon is actually in the 2nd batch of weapons which is not yet available on PC.

You can't get it yet, unless you use mods. Otherwise you'll have to wait for the next Kulve Taroth event.

Each new weapon is like learning a new character in a fighting game. If you want flashy, fast and agile movesets like in Blade & Soul, try the Sword & Shield and Dual blades.

In Monster Hunter, not getting hit and staying alive is most important. If you get hit, recovery takes a long time and your DPS tanks.

yes you're right, recovery really takes a long time in this game.
i am already playing dual blades on my console that's why i've been playing range weapons on pc.
never play as sword&shield yet, thanks for suggestion now i might try that later.

Happy New Year guys! Anyone still active on MHW? I want to form a behemoth hunting party, doing with randoms is seriously no point and i tried soloing but can only make it till phase 3.

Would be nice if we can make a party to farm for parts for the Drachen Gear and also to help out new players.

I can play two roles, either DPS or Healer (Wide Range 5, Speed Eating 3, Mush Mancer 3). Sadly only tank I have never tried.

I just bought the game during discount and is running with another friend who got the game as well, while 2 other friend of mine had already been playing since mhw launch ... I heard of the behemoth before but had no idea what monster it is, and also knew that it require a tank and a healer to have easier time farming.

We usually only active around 9 - 12 at night and use discord. If you interested pm me detail. (name, prefered language , discord id) I will check with the group before admission (as we are a close group who knew each other in real life so the leader of the channel are more cautious in adding unknown into the channel.)

thinking of picking this up. are there more players here on PC or PS4?

Anyone facing same problem? I bought the game and play for almost a month with no problem, but recently I notice it starts lagging and sometimes long loading time, after checking realize the CPU usage shoot up to 100% usage ! I bought the same spec as my friend and his game is only running at 55% ....... why is it eating my CPU? I have nothing on besides discord. Once I open the game the CPU went from 15% up to 100%. When I first bought the game the CPU only cap around 55%+ 60% at most.
