I've been played this game at 2 years ago on PC. Actually you can download this game from here http://mho.qq.com/. It's PC online game. However, the China server ping is very high. Will face some lagging issue but so far its playable.
Probably you will tell me MHW ≠ MHO. Actually its kind same thing only the different thing is MHW should be running on better graphics. Player has to enter a specific map to hunt down that monsters. After completed then you can exit the map and back to local town for backup everything.

Anybody here played Persona 5? I know it's a different genre but I'm torn between Mon Hun or Persona 5. Which is better for chillin after work?
Persona 5 is a great game. Story rich game. If you really like to read out their story, this game is considered as my best RPG game in 2017 after Horizon Zero Dawn.
Ah dang, the graphic looks great and the gameplay is straight out of an action movie but maybe I'll wait after until I'm free to grab this one. Thanks Well I do love RPG games, but seeing how goddamn tough a battle is in Mon Hun maybe it's not the time for me just yet. Every monster is a tank and a 30 minutes fight is considered normal. Wew
Thanks for your input. Guess I'll stay a srub
Monster Hunter is not considered as hard compare to Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne. Actually it's hitting system is similar like Horizon Zero Dawn. If Bloodborne, I really hate that kind of game. Get 2 or 3 hits then I was death.
In Monster Hunter, the monsters are quite tough to kill. Actually it's not so hard, just keep hit them until they fled. Then you have to proceed to find it out where did they gone. Don't worry you are quite tough to get killed by the monsters too.
Stuck at HR49... Stupid Kirin dont even give me chance to use potion...
1 lightning strike... Boom... Balance with 15% health... Follow with spiral kick...
Headache... Even when equipped with thunder resistance level 3...
F**k u Kirin...
My suggestion is kill this monster yourself. Stay in single player mode. If multiplayer SOS lets others player join will add up more difficult to kill. Firstly, get yourself a set of uragaan armor, at least 3. So the rest 2 you can choose other armors.
Get yourself a gunlance, you must use gunlance only, this is the key point. I'm personally not a gunlance profession player, my main profession is insect glaive.
After you equipped uragaan armor sets and a gunlance, so you can proceed to kill that annoying Kirin.
Just follow the video below, hold R2 to defense. Then press triangle to hit its head only when it stop attack you. Press L forward to recover your stamina. Make sure you are keep holding R2 from the begin until the end.
Lastly, your palico change to equip with healing bug as the video. Since you are holding R2 to defense all the time. You don't have any free time to heal yourself with potion. So anytime when you are get hitted, you can hit that healing bug to recover your health.

but nergigante attack sometime is annoying....he can stun me by touch me only( only touch... not hit) ...... guess what?? he flew up and crush me... 1 hit ko although i am with full level dragon resist deco...
do you have equipped stun resist charms or decorations? just 3 levels. my suggestion to hit nergigante must equipped with lv3 stun resist + earplugs lv5
nergigante is roaring so much, you must get prepared yourself with earplugs lv5. Just go to check which kind of armors have earplugs skills or add up the decorations into the empty slots.
Another tips is when nergigante go to the area when you first go down from camp 1. There have many rock on the ground, you can pick some rock before you proceed to hit nergigante. In that area, you can see many pillars on the above there. Some pillars can hit down by throwing a rock. You can pick up the rock to hit the pillars when it stand below there. 900+ damage per pillar hit.
This is the tips to save time, later in HR15. You can use the same method to hit xeno'jiiva too. There have a rock beside the camp. Just pick up the rocks before you proceed to kill that xeno'jiiva. Just hit the pillars above when xeno'jiiva stand below there. 1000+ hit per pillars, there have around 2 pillars are shoot able.

got the full aloy set this weekend. gonna run around in that till i can craft a better set of HR armour.
last night managed to beat nerg. but tried to fight him again and in the end... 1 HR100 player kept dying when fighting alongside 3x below HR30 players hahaha. dunno what happened...
It's related to player's armors and their skills. Usually like HR100, probably they are trying new weapons but still not fully handle it. Like me HR74 yesterday but still not handle bow very well then still get killed by nergi. My favourite weapons are insect glaive and gunlance.
IMO, if you're still experimenting with new weapon/armor, don't go join other ppl SOS, especially those very hard to join elder investigation, buat kacau only
Sometimes in SOS, its not me die but leader keep die. I want to up my HR level too.
Hi all sifus , recently I just won an USJ MHW from Japan . So I opened a Japan psn acc and downloaded it but unable to patch with my R3 MHW ? Any idea ?
The USJ code only can be used for MHW Japan version only but not the Asia multi languages version. USJ stand for Universal Studio Japan, I went to there in last year, which is located in Osaka.
Any ways to know the monster's HP? I am like keep hitting and hitting and not knowing when it's gonna end.
hit until it go back to home to sleep or it turn mad. usually if the monster keep roaring and keep crash you or your teammates. It's attack is getting higher damage, let's say your HP 100, it crash you with damage 90. You left 10 HP and almost die. If you are weak in defense, then it just one hit kill you.
thanks yoooooo. I sent some SOS flare yesterday night, was fun. LOL. Don't have to do anything and can finish quest. Happy!
Probably gonna restart my game cause i don't like my character. lol.
just hold, next week got huge updates. capcom is giveaway a free face modification voucher. So everybody have one free chance to modify their dissatisfy facial looks.
I got one thing need to remind everybody who want to attack xenojiiva. When you arrive to the camp, you should pick up the stone first before you head inside to attack xenojiiva.
Everytime I join SOS, nobody care about me. They just know how waste their time to hit it. There have 4 pillars above there, we need to first lure it to under that 4 pillars then use your stone to shoot that pillars. One pillar give xenojiiva 1700+ damage, so 4 pillars total 6800+ damage.
Just directly lure it to the pillars, don't waste your potions and ammo.
Tempered kirin 1 zap me die....farkk....how much thunder resistance is enough for him...zzz
use gunlance,
please guard yourself with your gunlance.
You need one Shield Jewel and 5 Iron wall Jewels, or use Uragaan amor set if you don't have shield jewel. Shield Jewel just has one level for your Guard Up skill and you need Ironwall Jewel to boost your Guard skill up to lv5 max. You also can equip an Ironside Charm III to save up your jewel slots up to 3 pcs.
You does not need any thunder resist armors because you are considered as God Mode during you guard yourself in defense mode. Make sure you must keep press R2 to guard yourself for protection against the thunder.
Don't dodge the thunder during you attack the tempered kirin, just keep pressing R2 and triangle together when you get chances to hit its head. Stop to hit its head during it's releasing thunder attack.

No lah, just reached HR29. But planning to complete my optional quests, at this point i havent got affinity boost yet. I am sure a lot of optional quests haven't appeared for me yet too.
affinity boost is quite complicated to obtain, need to complete several side quests from Research Base. There have 2 side quests, you need to collect materials then pass back to the Resource Center in Astera.

Anyone is playing critical draw bow here? The damage is very high when equipped with power coating. It's hard to judge how much the damage but I guess at least 105*7 times with lv3 charged dragon pierce. You may have chance to break the parts of monster for 2~3 times for every missions. Bazelguese is quite weak and easily get broken by critical draw bow.
