After 300+ hours, you will notice this. Even people in mh reddit notice this too. You can bait monster by reloading/sharpening. I've done that alot of time. That is why, when you see people with low health and trying to drink pot, help by flashing monster. They are pretty much priority target by monster.

Btw, they also secretly buffed elders damage with 2.0 update. I notice I took more stamina and health dmg when guarding.

Nah. Investigation is unlimited. You just need to keep purple one, or the one that you need to farm . Best one is 2 silver+ 2 gold.

Just weapon and armor. For LS, divine slasher. Anyho, none of the arena hbg or lbg is good.

No rapid fire, and high recoil. Any gun with 3/4 recoil for its bullet pretty much unusable. If you are new to gunning, you choose which type of bullet you want to use. N2 rapi/ Spread 3/ Normal3 or pierce3. look at recoil. At 2 you can move while shooting. 3/4 is bad.

Shotgun/spread is good for solo and small type of monster.

Normal is so so.

Pierce 3 is good for big monster. My goto gun.

If you ask me what type is good for general elder hunt, pierce 3 is the king. With shield and mind eye, I pretty much can shoot it almost halfway in small area. By the time mob moving to next area, I pretty much emptied almost 120-180 bullets averaging 40-80 dmg per bullet. ( about 2 minutes of trigger happy).

Normal , you need to hit weak area for maximum dmg, and its kinda annoying in multiplayer where monster move around too much.

spread is poor man melee, don't use it in mp unless you hunt doggo, legi, kulu, paparatzi,jagras. While it have good dmg, in 2 minutes , you pretty much maybe able to empty 30+ bullet. Like normal.

Another thing , if you play hbg in multiplayer and have shield, you have another job - tanking super move for your party.

Also, a tips when in mp. Bring 13 healing power. 13 flash, mega barrel, traps if want to capture and dung. Everyone survival is also dps. Support is also dps. Not dying is dps.

Sometime normal drop them. But for guaranteed drop, tempered investigation. mp is SoS multiplayer.

One crime that you can commit in muliplayer is not using your flashpod, to make your life easier or to save other player. Yesterday, done 2 man kush tempered and my oh so great random partner playing bow didn't even bring one. Not even 1 flashpod. Used all 13 of mine when we both finally kill that dragon. never again doing 2 players hunt.

Very few of my SoS hunt having incompetent random.Less than 50 probably. Surprisingly alot of competent people in temp elder fight. But black diablos, yeah her, SoS usually drop like flies. I pretty much become support hbg throwing powder , shooting healing bullet and flash everywhere to save the hunt. Seriously, don't full derp dps build when black diablos can kill you by just looking at you. Survival people.

If you play melee, its acceptable. You don't have full battlefield view like us gunner or bowman. I use flash when :

1 . teammate in red/stunned/potting
2. cheesing flying monster
3. when i myself in danger.
4. first engagement with monster. you can have free hits if you throw flash at mob before they agro you. They will be blindly looking around.

remember gunner / ranged, you are support and dps. Take care of your team and they will drop that mob. But sometime, you will be in a bad sos where the same guy die 3 times within 3 minutes...

Fortunately my flashbug pretty much almost infinite. Full time factory producing them.

I don't use screamer pod. Always run out. No space too in my backpack. Between traps, space bullet/ gunpowder, healing item and such, i wish they have bigger bagpack.

Monster usually hit me first before i am able to hit them with that.

If you are good, you can use them against hovering flying monster.

I usually cheese flash him. He probably have second less hp than kirin for elder. Sleep bomb, para, cluster him. Fight fire with explosion.

U need to capture mob for special arena.

Vaal hazak set is great. Only have one teeny tiny little bit of weakness, fire. As almost all enemy in the game use fire.

Trivia, with 14 fire resist and 200 hp, you can survive 3 bagel bomb back to back. With negative 14, only 1 1/2.

I am using vaal for regen. Bored out of it, use bagel armor for fashion. With vaal armor, medicine and vampire, you pretty much won't die. With vaal, I play hbg lazy turret guy. Not moving and tanking everything.

Hero streamstones is not the problem( have enough to upgrade every weapon about 2-3 for each weapon), for me forceshot and ironwall gem. I need them. 2 ironwall gem is not enough, and forceshot gem for me to ditch that diablo legging.

I have maybe 3 or 4 capacity boost. Only that forceshot jewel left from my list. I got 2 capacity from elder melder 3.

Hmm, I can tank that. Good update. Kinda bored with current elders already.

Also, they nerfed flash pod.Tempered monster will gain immunity to flash pod after certain use.

Elder ultimate will be nightmare and no more cheesing kush .

Well, I can free flash bug spot for pitfall trap. I will miss flashpod kush in ancient forest for easy kill.

Trust me, in SoS, they will become immune to flash within 2-3 minutes with this update and my tank build will laughing even with fail investigation.
