see ur luck, but i do agree that SG's QC isn't that good. my EVO7 was spoilt within 7 days of purchase, then went for RMA and get exchanged with another set on the spot. been using the same set ever since, almost a year and half now. but the equalizer LED started to dim, guess it happens to all other speakers. for me, i would not be buying SG speakers anymore for my next upgrade, most probably Edifier as i use the speakers for music listening more instead of watching movies and playing games

How about Sonic Gear Uforia...? HiFi Speaker... anyone...? I hope can test all SG stuff...

P.S: I like A5 very much but here around Skudai, Altec Lansing VS4121 (RM215) more cheaper than A5 (RM225). Maybe I will choose AL, So what's your suggestion..?

sonic gear is very sux , it only emphasizes on creating an impressive design but not it's feature....
If u own a subwoofer speaker or multimedia speaker just nice looking but the sound quality and bass are ultimately bad, i think u should go for other brand. Altec lansing is great...

im not a SG fans, in fact i know SG sounds is not good at its price.
but don't start firing out bad comments like that...

imo its better to say:
SonicGear speakers are expensive, because for this amount, i only can get speaker on this quality; while for Altec Lansing, paying same amount can get better sound.

don;t fire on my instead, im just offering opinion so that this thread does not dead, nor become firing places... not all SG are bad, not all AL are good...

i oso got a set of BT3 .. i replaced the 2 speakers with hifi satelite speakers .. sounds 1000000000 times better than those ORI SG speakers .. hahahaaa

My Blue Thunder 2V still works fine for me up till now ..... almost 2 years plus using it..... still as good as new... powerful bass till it rattles my bedroom windows when i play bass test songs

no...old song i don know, in "modern song", BT3 beat 4121 flat out, not in terms of bass level, but the "vocal clarity"....but for me the BT3 also damn because big woofer box big driver equal to nothing, can't response in low bass(40hz-60hz) area, maybe due to crap box design...

no using the BT3 SUB and replaced the ori BT speakers with HIFI ones .. much much much better .. hehehe

then u better throw it away, no point u replaced the ori BT speakers with HIFI ones ..
