the heatpipe is definitely fatter...........temperature can be further decreased by mounting a mini 40mm fan on the black heatsink......
i think manufacturers are starting to use better grade heatpipes as to increase the number of heatpipes |

QUOTE(uglyvamp @ Apr 1 2007, 11:24 PM) recetly i find all the cpu heatpipe hsfs all looks similar.. i wonder how far can the heatpipe technology goes... this one uses fatty heatpipe thus improving the heat transfer to the fins = better performance. Named in top 5 HSF ranking though..check out some reviews.. This post has been edited by BlackThyra87: Apr 1 2007, 11:29 PM |

Somehow the top 5 doesnt mention the tuniq, noctua, ttbtvx?
not to mention the rest (except for the zalman) is rarely spoken off. |

The Noctua is there but not compared with the Enzo. Its there at the AMD section but surprising the Enzo did so well...Even outperforming those cute Zerotherm Butterfly HSF...not to mention the rest (except for the zalman) is rarely spoken off. |
