Just finished 5-star on Raptor Rescue with a good team....and we had NO CV. The Raptor actually sank a DD with her guns

got CV can detect enemy ship location earlier hehe

While lurking rank battle, I'm testing my new waiting waifu - HSF Harekaze along with her original captain Akemi Misaki


Quick review:

She's got 3 interchangeable hulls module similar to Anime counterpart:
- Module A: Kagero gun module (3X2 127mm/50) - big shells, longest reload (7 sec) & rotation turret (30 sec for 180 deg) of all module, great shell arc. Worst AA def; just like her sister Kagero.


- Module B: Akizuki gun module (3X2 100mm/65) - small caliber (just like Akizuki), faster reload (3.0 sec) & shell velocity (1000 m/s), flat shell arc, can act as AA def for the ships (but not so much).


- Module C: USN DD gun module (3x1 127/54) - great shells of all module, fast reload (4 sec) & rotation turret (5.3 sec!!!), rainbow shell arc (similar weakness just like any USN DD guns), can act as AA def for the ships (but not so much), less turret compare to other module; only 1 gun for 1 main turret


Recommendation: Get urself Module B if u enjoy gunfight (equip urself with IPHE + DM/BFT, even better if u put AR for 2 sec reload and less torps CD) - Now u get clone ver Akizuki - but with better speed, better torps and better stealth (despite u will get 3x2 main turret instead of 4x2)

She got great concealment detection (6.0km w/o CE; 5.4 km with CE), with speed 35.5 knots (4.0 sec rudder with 640m turning circle) which is really great. Equip with 2x4 610mm torpedoes tubes with 10km range & 62 knots speed (similar to Akizuki type 1 torps, but u get another extra torpedoes tube as bonus )
She only got 13300 hp (similar to stock Kagero module) which is make her the lowest HP pool of tier 8 DD, so is advice to get Survivability Expert on ur captain.

Bonus
The great thing about Harekaze is u can swap it with ur Unicum IJN captain on her (which make her great again)


She also come with 2 type of camo
1/ Y467 Harekaze "High School Fleet" Camo theme


2/ Type 10 -HSF Harekaze (original Harekaze camo when shes enter the Pacific War)

Already joined the bandwagon And I used Hull-B too, with Akizuki captain on the helm. Quite scary to other DD, like Akizuki does (even more since other DD can't out-spotted her unlike Akizuki). Credits gain also quite good for this ship.

She is like a premium ship where moving any Jap captain on her no need re-training?

I thought the're like those ARP ships where you can't move any ijn captains to those ships

mistakenly stumbled into 1 harekaze in my half hp mahan yesterday and got obliterated. damn that concealment

and got hydro-ed by a hsf ags in my smoke. damn that ags for using hydro.
(went back to port and changed my ags to equip hydro as well after that)

too bad I didn't play pts recently so I don't know how it felt to instantly deleted in a BB but I bet it's more or less like being 1 strike sunken by TBD
