Belfast and Kutu somehow still fires away through smoke when I have a match up with them. The smoke nerf definitely didn't stop them from firing in smoke until someone pop radar.

Btw, how to configure Mogami? She's not like other previous cruiser tier and her stock gun mount is a freaking 15.5cm triple gun mount (myoko has 20.3cm twin gun mount). Should I stick with the stock gun or grind to get her 20.3cm gun?

stick with the 155mm because you get 15 of them, most important skill is EM and CE so can sail close to your team dd and give hell to enemy dd with 15 shells then you chicken run to cover haha

dont bother with the 203mm at all the fun is the 155mm, always remember find cover everytime no matter you are the highest tier or lowest tier

if you have the points for IFHE its better but i play thru mine without it, its fine as you will set alot of fire to BB

So this mogami isn't to go against the big ships but instead hunting for small DD and weak armored cruisers eh? Sounds fun for me. Quite worried about her wide citadel though.

This is the mistake many cruiser player does including me, you dont wanna go hunt anyone but wait for opportunity to come. When play as soft tofu cruiser like mogami you have to play the smart way in finding covers and look at where everyone is. How you place your ship is very important.

The jump from myoko to mogami is very different, you will get into alot of T10 match and its very tough. My time with mogami is like 90%+ in T10, even so its not the end that will make you quit as the more you play you will find ways to deal with it. Hope you are not as unlucky as me

Anyway find cover all the time, let the opportunity comes or find the opportunity that you have advantage and stay calm all time. Its a fun ship if you can play it right.

Kutu is not affected much, T10 games mostly play long range, food for kutuzov
However my aggresive playstyle wrecked me in cyclone as I smoked up to get away from Izumo@6.9km and a fiji and benson, forgot that 7.7km range as I fired away and got get wrecked, adus

That mogami can play kiting while shooting like myoko ka?!
I will grind the line to play mogami as it looks like fun
