Since my last update, I managed to add another 35 containers to my collection for a total of 535. The Event chapter 2 is ending soon and I can add another 7 to the tally including Week 6 Twitch container drop. I'll wait for these before finally opening all the containers at once.

Final tally, 545 containers collected. I didn't spend any money except doubloons bought a long time ago for a few of the second line of progression of Event Pass that is worth purchasing.



Tried opening containers during each Public Test and discovered that the reward ships are not fixed but random. Too tired to open and document the rewards last night but will do so later. Opening soon!

Was a bit disappointed that I got only a single ship. It is what it is.

Dutch Cruisers: Early Access & Event Pass

Update 14.0 introduces a new branch of Dutch light cruisers to Early Access!
Ship Features

• These cruisers are armed with 128 mm main battery guns, offering good range and ballistics for their size.
• They are equipped with AP shells that can deal decent damage for their caliber, plus HE shells with great penetration but with low damage and chances of starting fire.
• The line features the signature Dutch Airstrike, with a long range, rapid cooldown, and relatively short time for bombs to reach their target. However, the small squadron size will make it challenging to overcome enemy AA defenses.
• Ships of the branch have strong AA defenses, good concealment, and access to Engine Boost and Repair Party with a fast cooldown to boost survivability.
• A small HP pool and weak armor are among downsides of these ships.

The new Dutch cruiser Tech Tree branch will become available for all players to research with the release of Update 14.2.





10 days to go and I'm on target to finish the Event Pass for the Dutch Tier VIII Cruiser Jaarsveld tomorrow.
Nothing valuable in the second line of progression so I won't be spending 2,500 Doubloons.

A look at the greatest naval battles of the 20th century through the lens of alternative history.
History doesn't have a conditional tense. But that doesn't make it any less interesting to wonder "What if...?" In this new show, we imagine how famous naval battles might have developed under alternative circumstances.

Dogger Bank is a large sandbank in the North Sea about 100 kilometers off the coast of England. The sea depth here ranges from 15 to 36 meters. This area, rich in fish, became a battleground between the British and German Navies on January 24, 1915.
Even though our reconstruction doesn't take a huge range of real-battle parameters into account, at the very least, it has allowed us to compare the advantages and disadvantages of the tactics employed by the British and Germans.
• What if Von der Tann hadn't charted a course to her planned repairs 24 hours before the raid?
• What if three sailors led by Corvette captain Hagedorn had opened the emergency flooding valves of the magazine on Seydlitz?
• What if Admiral Hipper had continued his attempts to save Blücher, despite the threat of the entire division being overwhelmed?

110 years ago, on January 24, 1915, a significant naval engagement took place during World War I—the Battle of Dogger Bank.

In this conflict, the British fleet under Admiral David Beatty confronted German cruisers led by Admiral Franz von Hipper. Although not decisive, the battle showcased the strategic capabilities and determination of both sides. In honor of the Battle of Dogger Bank anniversary, two new historical Commanders have been added to World of Warships: Admirals David Beatty and Franz von Hipper
The Armory also features themed containers that can drop these Commanders, as well as Premium ships Tier V Battleship Agincourt, Tier VII Battleship Renown '44 and Tier VI Battleship Repulse.

Completing 3 missions in 10 days for 4 Battle of Dogger Bank Premium containers using Moltke, Derfflinger or Tiger Battleship sounds easy. May not get a ship but a 10 skill commander is nice.


No one keeps Tier IV ships because it is useless for missions. So it all depends on German Tier V Derfflinger or British Tier V Tiger Battleship.

Tier V British Battleship Tiger. Unfortunately I haven't researched it yet. Good tech tree line with torpedoes equipped battleships from Tier IV to Tier X.


I'll have to make do with the Tier V German Battleship Derfflinger. No torpedo equipped battleship on the tech-tree line till Tier VII to Tier X.

83 years ago, on February 27, 1942, the Battle of the Java Sea unfolded—one of the key naval clashes in the early months of the Pacific Campaign.

A combined Allied force under the command of Rear Admiral Karel Doorman attempted to halt the Japanese advance but suffered a heavy defeat. The battle resulted in Japanese naval supremacy in the region and the further occupation of the Dutch East Indies.
