Brit standard socket is designed to be the safest. The earth goes in first before live and neutral. There's a fuse but it's not really that practical on actual application. Most circuits fry before they even reach that current. Even circuit breakers trips without fuse acting lol. But still good to have as secondary protection.

Live and neutral are partially insulated so no need for sunken design.

Then there's the good grip on the socket. Weakness is that it can lie on the floor with the fork facing upwards.

3 phase coming from TNB for extra load..then step down for normal voltage...

go see that TNB meter box la..see got how many wire la..
red, yellow, blue + ground is 3 phase la..

malaysia has higher voltage then maybe higher than USA but definately higher *
than China at least by Half. Japan also has lower voltage than us

So due to lower risk of any over power damages, they do not need extra cost on switches.
Malaysia do need switch however

It depend on the area. Got area if people on the aircond and the whole taman blackout. Not enough power (kW) long time ago & need to inform tnb to up the power. But today tnb already put extra reserve for power. Happen to me before in 80's.
