Not as fast as Luno. Since they only check the deposit on business day. So it's slow.
IMHO, anyhow it is still safer than p2p platform (unless they cabut lari or kena hack) but with higher charges & fees.
Had bad experience with a trader on LocalBitcoins earlier, purposely stall time after seeing BTC price has changed, went missing and don't want to release the coins until I dispute the trade, and I missed my whole day trade. :S
*
Too bad =/
But could consider to take it as cash out platform like Luno.
If Luno dint survive the bank crisis lol

For news, try search WhatToHodl or news.bitcoin.com

There are other channels which give signals on trading, but it's own your risk to trust them.

Is buying BTC with CC cheaper than on P2P exchanges?
*
U found any platform can buy with cc?
I think can give a shot because local transaction convert using 1 USD to 4.9/5 MYR not 4...

Immediately. Might want to reach stop loss function but even with that function, it either buy immediately when X event is triggered or enter the queue (cannot be higher than market price for buying and lower than market price for selling)
*
hmmm... So if refer to same scenario
10k market price, stop and limit both put 11k. It will still trigger immediately too(?), so Stop-Limit doesn't help as well right
refer to ur statement > cannot be higher than market price for buying

If you did that, then when the market price is 11k, it will immediately buy at 11k. If it doesn't hit 11k and stays at 10k, your limit order won't be placed.

What i meant is that lets say you put stop 11k, after the market price reach 11k.

1. If your limit is 10k. When it reaches 11k, a buy order will be set at 10k and enters the queue.
2. If your limit is 11k, when it reaches 11k, a buy order will be set at 11k.
3. If your limit is 12k, when it reaches 11k, a buy order will be set at 12k.

For scenario 2: When your limit order kicks in, whatever at 11k will be filled and if the price goes up, your limit order will stay at 11k, being partially filled. (If it fills up completely then ignore it.
For scenario 3, when your limit order kicks in, it will make a buy limit at 12k, hence taking up all the current sell order up to 12k (Most of the time it would be fully filled, but if the sale order is thin, it will be aprtially filled and remains there as a 12k buy order.

If my explanation is wrong, feel free to correct it. Thats what i understand from the stop-limit at Binance anyway.
*
So for stop order, it had no different whether its buy or sell stop-order as trigger point, it will execute as long the market price hit the mark
The only thing make it different is sell or buy?
And partially fill, mean i might not get the amount i wanted even it hit the condition?

Yup, as long as there are buyers/ sellers that trade at your "point", the order gets executed.

Partially fill means your orders are filled, just not fully. Say you want to buy 1 BTC at 10k. Someone decides to sell 0.5 BTC at 10k. So your orders get half-filled (you get the 0.5 BTC and the order remains active until it gets fulfilled).
*
let say use back ur scenario, my order will buy everything below 10k right?

Just think of it that the stop-limit is just helping you to place a buy/sell order if an event is triggered. Whether that buy/sell order is executed or not, depends on the market.

It is equivalent to you, ourself placing the limit order upon seeing that it hit 11k. Whatever happens after that, depends on whether people fill your order or not.

so far any people get scammed by using remitano or localbitcoin?
*
Remitano is rather safe, because Remi will hold the seller btc.
The trade only go through if both side approve, if seller refuse to approve after u bank in he wont get back his btc.

Wait, u mean u need to transfer your btc to Remi and deposit there while localbitcoins doesn't? I thought both also require you to do deposit.

Hmmm i see from video local bitcoin seems like direct p2p, or i miss-understood. Anyone can clarify?
