correct. obviously nobody should be buying top.

but at the time people did not have a crystal ball, so nobody expected that big crash at 60k.

however now that we reached/crashed down to the half way point of the previous highs, a lot of people suspected that it will bounce back again. but since some are not too certain, especially since we hit the death cross (this created the most uncertainty), thats why some are DCA (dollar cost averaging), or some others all in to lock in at current position, or some are just expecting the price to go down further (then they buy at a much lower point from now), and some people have just given up on crypto altogether (usually the people that fell for the fud and got burned for selling after the price fell. aka they didn't hodl  sad.gif  although i suspect some of these people needed the fiat depending their circumstance so they had no choice but to sell? could be).

jumped in at 30-33k ish btc, 20-24k ish eth. for cardano probly locked in close to the current lowest dip at around 1.20 which i doubt can get better than this, but could be wrong. now george says we could be expecting a sudden drop or could be a wycofe scenario where it will rise up soon in a big way  hmm.gif

yes, but can you? hmm.gif
but then you have figures like max keiser who possibly made a billion dollars from crypto (he gives alex jones 10k bitcoin, which that nub lost it on the laptop  rolleyes.gif  ), who predicted btc prices going up to 200k+ in 2021. Obviously that didn't happen. (also max keiser also recently commented that because titan was a shitcoin, he implied eth was also bad as such. so i'd take his comments with a grain of salt  rolleyes.gif  )

Sure maybe there were signs like you said (but simply putting an elephant pic troll post meme does not prove anything  rolleyes.gif  post a more factual post if you want to prove your point otherwise u have no credibility for what you say), but my point is there were many people speculating on the prices in 2021. it's so much easier to look back and say see, compared to speculating future prices to some extent

Guye better explains whatever point you were trying to make (if any at all)  rolleyes.gif i rather learn from him rather than some nonsensical random posts by others with little to no factual citations to backup their arguments doh.gif  yes guye is not a financial advisor, but at least he tries to backup his content with sound logic and facts when possible

now this conversation is getting interesting

can I? laugh.gif

were you here in march or april?

I was basically telling how it will drop and drop to where laugh.gif
and the logic supporting it
and the clues

i used to quote back the comment i made in every reply so people wont think im just pulling the data out my ass
but now the proof is already in the pudding so i dont need to go all the way to proof it

i was not into crypto around that period. so maybe u knew more than i do. i give you that.

but the way you try and prove your point is hardly convincing at all not to mention your rude and inappropriate tone. i did however look at other more reliable sources of info that did confirm your point somewhat. that it was a somewhat predictable cycle (yet some people did not expect this crash at the same time which is to what i was referring to)

if you want to be taken seriously don't troll >_>; it's that simple.

preparing for cold storage of my bch and eth. hopefully the hardware wallet arrives soon.

I bought ledger.

a couple of things I noted: the ledger nano x battery is rated 100mah and design to last 5 years. I reckon it is like my xiaomi band battery... need to maintain the charge just like mobile phone and laptops, and not let it drain to zero percent for too long or it will damage the lithium cells.

Therefore need to charge or at least hook it up every 3-4months.

i am also curious about this  hmm.gif  where is a good place to do savings and staking?

in regards to ETH, on binance they can stake eth, but what you get in return (probly only interest) is something called beth. this beth supposedly is a 1:1 against ETH, so they claimed you can trade that beth back to eth then you can sell eth as per usual. You are also locked until ETH 2.0 comes out which could be for 1-2 year or something?  sweat.gif  did anyone do this? is it safe?
*
https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BETH_ETH

Trade is better, you get 5% or more beth. You still get the auto-compounding staking interest, and can redeem to eth 1:1 after the 2.0 first phase. (or whatever it's called.)
Dunno when you can redeem, months or years. But you're free to trade bEth with Eth whenever you want, at a loss.

Is it safe?
You have to keep the bEth on binance to earn interest, so up to you to decide how much you trust binance.

https://www.binance.com/en/eth2
That said, eth 2.0 staking is now "only" 6.5% apy, and will get lower as more people stake. Try defi if you want a billion apy. heh heh

Using seed phrases, i believe you use it on a new trezor (or in your case, ledger) then it will recover your crypto, and lock out the old device? (correct me if am wrong here  sweat.gif )
*
Pretty sure it doesn't "lock out" anything. People buy 2 ledgers and enter the same seed phrase so they have a backup. You can use that 12 word seed phrase with compatible software wallets, like metamask and exodus, use them all at the same time. (Don't do that, of course.)
