Don't think DeFi will die just because of prices crashing. In fact probably more traffic due to people selling and buying low.
Also there are new alts created every week, if the current ones can't survive, they probably shit to begin with.

Prices tank is okay. What matters is the no. of transactions on the network. Each transaction minimum 21000 gwei that still needs to be used.

Bulk of transactions still happening on layer 1. Popular apps like Maker still on main chain.
