The only one who came in the flesh and look like human is Jesus...not Jehovah.

From where I came from, the Holy Spirit is never neglected out of the 3 but very much involved in the believer's life.

Holy Spirit is the part of the triune God that is the one who resides in our life. He is the one that teaches us the revelation and help us to understand his word. He is also the one who enables us to live the Christian life. He is the one who manifest God's miracle and power. He is the one who communicates and speaks to us as God. He is the one who helps us to pray in the Spirit. He is the one who manifest as the presence of God. He is the one who convicts us of righteousness as well as when we've done wrong.

Simply put, The Holy Spirit is the part of God who live with us and is in us.

Whereas Jesus and Father God reside in Heaven.

The Holy Spirit does not have a physical form but as His Name imply, is Spirit. However the Bible does give pictures of the symbol of Holy Spirit...such as Dove, Tongues of Fire, etc.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (NIV) - The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
The verse above helps us to understand why.  The (small letter) god there as we know is satan. he has planted through the ages.... in all kind of seed (doubt, hatred, etc) into the heart and mind of unbelievers and even have the gumption trying.............. (so to speak) "scam" believers (baby christians) against God, against christianity, christians and the church. And that god of the world will hold fast to every unbeliever in bondage...he will not let go so easily. <----It's a warfare.

This is something they do not see and realize because they are also under the bondage of sin..thus making them blind and oblivious. You can see this in the way how they think of us.

They do not even understand the hostility, why they hate God. They think they do but if one would really think deep about it, they have no real reason.

actually what makes you trust the Bible so much?
all these years, I only believe in God in my heart but I don't read the Bible because I believe the Bible is the past... just history... we should focus on the future,

First of all, I am a very very very science and technology kind of person. I love to read a lot of documentaries and do a lot of research.

I personally feel that God is in existence.

Before that, I did a lot of research... one of them is the Big Bang... if you analyse this way, for the Big Bang to occur of this scale, only God can make this happen. Imagine until today, there are millions of stars still bursting away from each other following the Big Bang billions of years ago.

I have a good life now, everyone in my family is healthy and happy... I don't take these for granted.. and I believe all these are a result of God's blessings and protection.

Then of course miracles... I watched a lot of youtube video seeing how the sick with stage 4 cancer just healed overnight... keyword is "overnight"

On the other hand, the Bible. I always has doubts on how true is the Bible.
Who wrote the book of Genesis when there is no human before Genesis 1:1 ? Likewise for 10 commandments... is it really true? i know is God's commands... but how come it can be in documentary form? and many others.
The great flood (Naoh's case), many scientists couldn't find evidence that earth was once heavily flooded.
If Adam and Eve are the first male and females respectively... then how about Cain's wife? Where did Cain's wife came from???
Of course, there are many dozens of inconsistencies and contradictions around the Bible too... I posted them a few days ago in this thread.

Yes you can eat the food and it all depends ...if your family members already know that you're a christian and it doesn't stumble them, it's ok. This verse below is talking about people who may not know you and may stumble...that makes the difference.

1 Corinthians 10:25-33 (NIV)

25 Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, 26 for, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”f

27If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience. 28But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, both for the sake of the one who told you and for the sake of conscience. 29I am referring to the other person’s conscience, not yours. For why is my freedom being judged by another’s conscience? 30If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for?

31So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 32Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God— 33even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.
* Don't eat the food in the sense because you worship the idol. You can eat the food offered but you don't worship the idol.

Easiest way to understand the context of stumble is that when an unbeliever sees a christian worshiping an idol literally...act of bowing down to pray to a deity and THEN eating the food because the person prayed to the idol.

The meaning of stumble......without offence: not troubled and distressed by a consciousness of sin.

The person may think "how can it be?"..a Christian who worship God and yet pray to idols...the person may get offended or stumbled....hey this Christianity is like 'simply can do anything".
Maybe this verse below can help to understand the context of stumble.
Romans 14: 1-3, 14-18

1 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 2 One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.

14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. 15 If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. 16 Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
If it affects your conscience, then just avoid eating it. If you're forced to out of your will, you can pray for God to sanctify the food and cover you in his Grace.

1. No, there's no mention of alien.
2. The word of God did not mention specifically the types of creatures that went into the ark, it could be that there wasn't any cold climate creatures that went in and what is to stop God from creating after the flood?

Well the thing is, the Bible is not a record on taxonomy of biology or science. You'll note that God did not record everything that has happened since the beginning of time. It only records the incidents where there is relative incidents of God Himself and communication between Himself and his creation. It's is in essence a Book on what God wants us to know of where we went wrong and what is the salvation from all these. It is a book to reveal Christ predominantly.

Just remember the old testament are shadows of what was promised to come and it's always about God's son. Many things that happens back in OT is a hint of revealing Christ. For example the sacrifice of Isaac...that is a picture of Christ....Even Joseph, Naomi...all have hints of unveiling Christ Jesus.

Good for you, please do not lose this. I mean the habit of reading God's words, keep it as constant as possible, it's vital for your spiritual life and growth.
