u plan the sound for how many seats? denon x1300 or x2300 can do 5.1.2 with audyssey multieq xt for calibrate up to 8 seats.

yamaha im not sure suitable model. can ask other sifus

4k bajet. the av receiver(amp) itself near 2-3k.
so u can buy a pair of front bookshelf spk only.

the spk choice try to get 6.5" size. will helps a lot in movies.
dont forget to buy spk cable. usually not included. u measure the required length.
if hifi shop sell expensive, u can survey car accessory shop. is suitable

yes. 3 seat is ok. my room also 3 seat only.
u can spend less on avr as long the ports and function (atmos 5.1.2 or more 5.1.4) is sufficient. i like audyssey becos it boost dynamic (bass and treble) according to master volume.

pioneer avr cannot.

yes 6.5" should cover ur room enough bass before buy subwoofer. spend extra on spk but make sure u really like the sound produced.
