Hi, I'll be getting a macbook pro and starting to look into the USB-C hub. So far, I found these:

Satechi Aluminum Type-C Pro Hub Adapter
http://www.satechi.net/index.php/computer/...e-gray?___SID=U

Charjenpro Macstick
https://www.charjenpro.com/premiumadapter

HooToo
https://www.hootoo.com/ht-uc001-usb-type-c-...i-apple-pd.html

Have anyone had any experiences with the above USB-C hubs? Do they overheating after a while? Which one are you currently using? I don't really need HDMI, Ethernet port. I need something that's small and easy to put in my bag.

Thanks.

I have one.... reasonable price and functional.

The transfer speed was good and so far no problems.

It only feels warm when you connect too many devices. This was the one i have now.

For the hubs that stick directly straight into the ports and is like an extension of your MBP, you need to make sure that if you are using a case with your MacbookPro, the hub can fit in. Otherwise, you should consider the hubs with a cable to connect to the MBP. The hubs only heat up when you plug in power to them, although I haven't faced any overheating issues.
