ok guys....i ve got my 2gb RAM..

i was at dis shop in lowyat...mac reseller or something..on d same floor as c-zone ...

i asked them about the pricing of a 2x1gb stick..it was rm1200..the difference is on the ram..on the certified ram its written KTA..but on valur rams its written KVR..but then i saw d shop selling also corsair RAMS.n i asked him whether its compatible or not.n he said yes.so i took a look at it n remembered d codes written on d RAM..

wat did i do next...went to czone, asked the guy to show me the codes on the CORSAIR RAMS...n it was d same code..so i asked him whether i can try first b4 buying..he said go ahead.d guy even let me borrow his screwdriver..

d macbook restarted n it was running..checked the system preference,n d status was OK.so i paid for it,n now its running flawlessly.hope nothing happens..

c-zone
CORSAIR RM215 perpiece..

if u r planning to get kingston value rams, most shops are selling it,but d cheapest is cycom..rm195 perpiece...

i ll update u guys if there are any problems..

pukarix,
chill bro, did not mean to make u worried. well i also use the same test method couple of time on kingstron ram, no problem watsoever.
btw i am back with the original ram. strange feels this original is much faster and no crashes. tested over nite. just b4 i change it last nite, while i was doing my work at my gf's hse, i put it on standby.. 3 x each time i open back, it reboot to login page instantly.
