What do you guys think about my first short film for hari raya?

Honestly, I'm no fan to a Malay film, and I don't watch any. But, if this is your first short film, I have to say it is actually quite good.

I didn't believe that I'll sit and watch all 8+ minutes of it. Not good with commenting on films, but all I can say is "well done!".

Thanks! I've learnt a lot during the shooting and post process. Hopefully I can improve the quality of future videos even more.

Is it a final year project or hobby oriented ?

it's just a hobby that I took up last year.

How familiar are you with special effects ?

those effects in sam kolder's video or like james cameron's explosion stuff?

still learning using AE for effects. Need to upgrade my PC first for smooth editing.

Are you a film maker?

No I'm not. But I do have several projects in hand that requires a short 1-2 minutes video.

Explosion, special effects, some animation. Some are documentary based.

Mostly for the government.

I'll keep you in mind when the time comes, probably sit for a coffee and see if you're interested and how we can work out a package.

Btw, how many people were involved in your film and how long did it take to make?

Just me and my friend. He's the director/writer whilst i'm the camera guy/post production. Did all the shooting in 2 days plus 2 weeks for the editing.

Quite heavy once put in color grading and colorista. Now doing first ever music video job. Hopefully it will come out good. Trying out many new effects.
