Hi all, first time visitor to the Pets Wonderland subforum, so don't flame if this is the wrong section to post k.

My gf has a couple of dogs, one is a male Maltese and the other a female Jack Russell.
Recently they had puppies, 3 in fact. 1 brown, 1 black and 1 white with brown spots.

She can't keep all of them (She also has a huge golden retriever ) so she was wondering if anyone would buy them?
The concern is, neither parent has any special pedigree/etc as far as she knows, so she's not sure.

Any advice/suggestions/info guys? Thanks!

You could try advertising the puppies in the Garage Sale forum. There may be some potential buyers who are interested.

Actually, I didn't want to start a thread in Garage Sales because, I have no idea what the usual price is. As for pictures, I can take some later, although the puppies are just sleeping all day long.

She meant by spaying the mom so that this wouldn't happen.

The price usually depends on the seller. I'm not really sure if there's a 'usual price' for it. I think a decent price for it would be around rm100-rm200, just my two cents.

Heh well actually the dad maltese was already not a pure maltese.
Last time when she brought him to Pet Safari in Ikano for a haircut, they said it was Maltese mixed with Poodle I think.

The mom is a pure Jack Russell tho.

hmmm , i recommend u can put the price around rm150-rm200 since is already mix right ^^ but if u and ur gf want to sell , have to wait the pup till 2 month only can separate with their mum ya ^^

mixbreed is around RM 250-400 ler depending on the seller. Where got 100-200 so cheap one. But usually if it's a mixbreed of maltese or pekingese or poodle, people tend to sell at higher price. Last time i asked a seller in garage sale for her mix breed - something mix with pekingese, she said RM 600 firm coz it's a mixbreed of PEKINGESE ("high class" dog). I'm not too sure either - wait for others to justify.

Even some pure breed like Shih Tzu from home breeder without MKA is priced around RM400

But why care about if it is pedigree or not?

well...Syrian . maltese mix with poodle and pekingese mix with shih tzu , i do saw before . i know some people would like to buy this kind of breed.other country do live this kind of mix breed as well .

by the way jack rusell with maltese i reli no see before ler.
no cert shih tzu i saw people sell around rm 400-450 oso .

well is just my two cert anyway . the price set up is depend to the seller oso .

well crossbreed or pure breed or mongrel ? dun care anyway la , as long as they got people to love and care , aren't more lovely if those puppy got a good home right

hahaha , how many cm for a mini maltese huh ? well u can PM WhitePalace for more info about maltese , he do own maltese . he can answer u everything about maltese . a good breeder and good person to talk to anyway . perhpas he could help u to choose which kind of maltese .

shih tzu at price RM 400 only ?? Whao .. that's the lowest price i've seen so far. All those that I've asked were like minimum RM 550. Then meaning the girl cheated me lar .. she told me her pekingese mixed is RM 600 FIRM coz it's a "PEKINGESE" mixed - >.< I asked her why so expensive one and even purebreed shih tzu is cheaper .. she told me it's expensive because it's a "peki" mixed

if pekingese mix with shih tzu with offer this rm 600 price oso , i seen it before.

Well.... never price a mixbreed higher than a purebreed.... the thing is, no matter how nice also, you will create the wrong idea to puppy mills, then they will mixbreed more later and one day more and more dogs on the streets....

A mixed breed should be around RM200 to Rm400.... this depends on the breed. Already shih tzu with no cert can be RM400 to Rm500 the cheapest but with a cert, RM600 to RM700 for a start while quality shih tzus with cert is around RM1000 above. A mixbreed shih tzu would be around RM300 or less... If a mini pincher, pure with cert sometimes already Rm400 also got... so if mixbreed how much? Around RM200... or less... for I have seen it before.

Pure duchshund with no cert already RM500.... just look around and thing of a price. Mainly, think about the vet bill, food bill and such... accumulate everything then only think of the price for your pups.

Actually, this kinda thread is mainly sales... but since this is a guidance... will see how this thread go lah.

Wow... What a mix.. I'm trying to imagine what a Maltrussel will look like. Maybe it would look quite nice and unique. But yea, I second CrMs. To cover vet bills, food and effort would be good enough.

Not decided yet. I'm actually very sad she has to sell them, especially the white one lol, but she can't take care of them all.

Yeah my cocker spaniel damn old adi. Nowadays he sleep everyday. When walking also, can suddenly onli stumble and fall for no reason.

As for the maltese and jack russell, yes they both jump super crazy high. I wonder how high the kids can jump next time lol.
