i use whatever is available with me, plus i dont have a welding machine to toy around

a 1/8" thk metal plate would be too flexible whilte a 1/4" plate would be very heavy

plus using the wood and screws, i can play around with the castor configuration and sizes before i more or less settle down with a permanent configurations

actually these belian plans were for my scaffolding platform. one of them fell down 4 storey high (luckily no human damage) and was broken at the sides, so i cut them up into smaller pcs for this project

That's why I don't like such cordless powertools. How to work with a more heavy tools and lesser power? 1day job become 2day job.

A corded powertools is lighter without the battery and more power.

If you talk about powertools, I m greedy of power. 

No plug location and wet condition have been overcome for many decade already before cordless tool emerge.

all bosch cordless. corded one no need say la, some old old thing i never even touch liao after got cordless. except the demolition hammer, which i got for cheap

collecting hand tools oso i dunno apa mau bili liao. the only next thing i want is an inverter welding set. dunno which one mau bili. got rm 300 punya oso, but dunno can use or not. LOL

i have 3 x 238 & 3 x 136 liao. dunno apa mau simpan dalam.

Where got injure wan. I use powertools indoor and outdoor don't no how many hunderd yrs already. Abuse the tools like no tomorrow.

No power, no problem. Got generator mah.

Got water, no problem. Pua chu kang boot mah.

Raining, no problem. Just take a day off. 

You think all the contractor using cordless tools to work meh. Dateline coming also cannot finish with that lame tools.

i'm just a weekend diy person. i just like to have correct tool at the right time and right situation. 

for me, i can utilize tools for my daily routine...not just for heavy duty sweaty stuff....e.g using my saber saw for cutting coconut...etc etc 

I use my trim router to cut dado and trim uneven edges when making drawers.

but i've never installed entire roof with structure and insulation and polycarbonate before.
wanna try mah never tried before. wife kept pestering when wanna do. lots of project how to do only have 2 hands

later if success can erect a metal workshop and spray paint booth beside the house 
batten already installed this evening. maybe tomorrow can hoist up the roof and install. if it doesn't rain
