Chiseling function depend on your rotary hammer.
Some compact rotary hammer does not have this function build in.

Plan to get a good charger to maintain my existing Ni-MH batteries and start trying Li-Ion batteries. Coz I starting playing with IOT outdoor sensors on solar panels.

Saw this XTAR VP4 Li-Ion and Ni-MH charger in taobao.
Ali Express english version link
Costs about rm210.

Has function to check capacity, revive old Ni-MH battery and even check battery internal resistance.

Good to buy?

I m using OPUS BTC3100 V2.2. After survey many of this charger.

It have higher charging capacity and discharge test. Charge any battery from Nicad, Nimh to Li-ion.

Cheaper too.

Cant find the opus brand in Taobao but I found this one that look very similar.
Function also look very similar.
https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a230r...uId=42751114386

Forget to tell, this opus have a loud fan when heat up charge.

The clone wan might have a lower amp for the adaptor. Some this charger will only have high amp charge on 2 side only. The remain 2 will charge lower capacity if you put 4 battery in. Makesure the adaptor have enough supply for the charger.

Even some opus user change the adaptor to higher amp to get stable charge.
*
Finally the OPUS charger from taobao has arrived.
Use this to test those 4800mah xxxfire 18650 bought from lazada last time.
Seems like only 1050mah actual capacity. sad.gif
The xxxfire 18650 price was so cheap so it wont feel so hurt.

Tomorrow DoublePow and Panasonic 26650 & 18650 will be arriving from China, lets see how...

Saw this old style electronic workbench in pinterest. Feels like want to build a mini version of it to put in my bedroom that has aircond. The large workbench area outside has no aircond, sit there one hour whole body become sticky. well, high humidity = no need to worry about ESD.

Wonder where to get those brass join and connectors. Hmm...

That 5500mah claim... hmm.gif

Let me know the capacity.

You need to charge and discharge few time to get accurate reading.

Use the Test mode in Opus and set to max 1000mah discharge.

Check the weight of both battery. Might know the result.
*
user posted image

Charge and discharge at 1A.
Surprising result.

Doublepow = RMB19 each, 4729mah
"Panasonic" = RMB36 each, 5543mah

well... you get what you paid for.

You put opposite is it ?  tongue.gif

Ya, that price already look suspicious for the doublepow.

But Panasonic 26650 RMB36 ? That is very cheap. Sure genuine?

My rule of thumb, never get a battery capacity that higher than Panasonic or good brand battery capacity. It is my guide spec.
*
Well... The seller claims he source the "Panasonic" from a "branded battery manufacturer that makes battery for a popular electric car". However I can't find datasheet for panasonic 26650 online.
Since I bought 2 "Panasonic" 26650, tonight I will test another unit see the capacity consistent or not.

here is the link of the "panasonic" 26650, you decide. devil.gif

Yup. it is fake.

So becarefull when design to draw alot of amp. Not sure what is the discharge rate. Don't draw over 1A percell. Monitor the temperature.

And cycle charge lifetime.
*
I use it to power some arduino outdoor sensors, don't think will draw more than 1A consistantly. biggrin.gif

Just finish testing another doublepow and "panasonic" 26650.

doublepow 45xx mah
"panasonic" 55xx mah. This "panasonic" close has consistant capacity.

Long time no update with new toys liao.
Here is my new Bosch GRO tool.
I choose this instead of dremel because it uses the same 12v battery that I already.
Got it for about rm410 from ebay. Sent from korea.

Comparing it with about 20 years old electric dremel that I have.

Being battery powered, its very easy to use around objects because there is no wire to disturb my movement. thumbup.gif

It is heavy single hand use ?

The battery weight got cause extra grip on your finger ? hence inbalance gravity.
*
For weight, both feels about the same.
But the bigger body size and heavier back of the battery model will need some time to get used to.

Possible need to get an attachment to do more detail work.

12v 6ah? The battery butt extend out?

That is heavy to balance between the grinder tip and battery side. sweat.gif

Ya, the battery with square foot.
Mainly to use it with mini grinder, that grinder really eat power very fast.
