I m also home user.  blush.gif

I don't "direct" buy the battery. Unless you only need 1 or 2pcs. Or protected type.

If you want to buy a good brand, don't want kena cheat and reputable, you can look at tradezone. There is 1 shop in  Forget the name.

For big qty, get it from laptop, PB or any battery equipment. Once a while in ebay, got people offer large qty in good price. Shipping is killing. So always calculate the cost.

Just charge it with charger if cannot charge from Led light. But get a good charger.

I always buy led light which can be charge direct. Save the charger.

That is my intention.

I need to haul up the karcher to the roof if to clean the solar panel. So far never been clean before. Lazy to setup.  sad.gif

Also blast my outdoor equipment dirt and mud after use. Shorten the cleaning time.

Somehow I need to improve the battery running and charging time. But not buying extra. See how to DIY it.

Battery price are crazy expensive. sweat.gif

I suspect the hydroshot 3rd pin is just a thermocouple for temperature. This unit might be able to run just 2 pin battery.

So I tried out the experiment. Beside, want to know the actual running current for the hydroshot. It didn't state in on the unit. Without the current reading, I cannot design out the battery capacity spec.

Worx battery using samsung rate at discharge 20A. Which is pretty high. But is the unit run that high current ?

Setup the current and volt meter. Print the adaptor and wired it up. Just 2 pin wire and ignore the 3rd pin.

Press the trigger and it shot.  rclxms.gif

The current running as for dry run (when sucking the water up in the hose) is 1.0A.

When running at low pressure, 2.2A

And high pressure at 6.6-6.9A

So now have the current spec and confirm it can run with any 2 pin battery. In this case, I don't need to modify the worx battery. Print the battery adaptor and wire connector to a bunch of battery clip on the waist belt. That also reduce the weight of the hydroshot.  thumbup.gif

The store surprise me of how much choice I have compare the traditional hardware shop that is limited by the boss choice stock up.

When brought my house and DIY alot of thing, it so frustrated to get what I want from the traditional hardware shop. Standard reply "don't have" is the answer.

So Handimart and jaya hardware store is my choice to find non standard Malaysia hardware.  biggrin.gif

Nowaday, online shopping help me alot.

Why not change the battery instead get a jumper? The price already can get a good battery.

How often do you use this jumper?
