What made you change your mind? Getting insurance now means you have no faith in god anymore?

Here's a guide to get an insurance for your baby.

Firstly, you can insure them medically for a medical card against illness while they are growing up.

Secondly, you can plan along for their education before they reach the age 18 where there will be enough money for them to further their studies.

As for death/tpd and 36 Critical Illness, it depends on how much extra you can spare on them as they are not generating income, I would suggest to insure it upon yourself.

To get to know how much you need for the education, get a life planner to map out how much you'll know when they are age 18 - 21 whereby they will need to use the money for the education.

i know GE has one family plan but if not mistaken the cost of it is almost the same as a separate individual medical card.

buy those non investment link medical card until they finish studies and there after they can buy those investment link insurance themselves.

those non investment link medical card is actually quite cheap up till age 20+..

my sons insurance about RM220 i think. thinking to change though. its good coverage though and get private room even at the pricier hospitals and also allowance and also give you cash if the room is less than your allotted amount. or something liek that. but it is a lot to pay lah. especially since now my company also cover him. haii.. decisions decisions. i met my insurance agent the day i got my sons MyKID lol. which is good cause on 100th day masuk hospital di. kecian. which saved me RM3-4k bills that time.
