Sometimes I wonder if this is investors club or traders club. I cannot find any legitimate fundamental discussion.
About Hevea, my 2 cents is the fall is due more to the Ringgit strengthening. If you look at the HLIB and JFApex reports, they have substantially downgraded Hevea, but their earnings models STILL assume MYR/USD at RM4.30. We are below RM4.10 now. Hevea's earnings fluctuate by some 8% for every 1% fluctuation in the currency rate.
As for IQGroup, I see some actual value here just based on balance sheet analysis, but I have no idea about the direction of the business itself. If the business is headed on a cyclical down, or if MYR/USD is a sensitive factor...then best to stay away.

How are your investments so far this year?
I closed all my positions in early November (in Prolexus, Armada and Heveaboard) except for CWG, MMHE and Tan Chong. So now I have an ultra concentrated portfolio - ratio of 60/20/20 on a cost basis for Cwg/Mhb/Tchong. Quite comfortable/satisfied. Next year is a big year.
All the best guys for the coming year and hope your investment goals/targets for this year was met.

First week, so far so good. Tchong rebounding on better prospects, as is Mhb. Cwg a bit stuck. Long-term all three should do well. Hoping for triple digit returns from these three stocks in total for this year. Portfolio distribution is like 60% Cwg, 21% Mhb and 19% Tchong.

Scary wor Bursa. Portfolio gained some 10% the past 3 days (mainly due to Tchong and Mhb). I rather slow and steady. Sama cepat naik, sama cepat turun!
Gotta wonder who's pumping up all the money all of a sudden. The fireworks at Saprng are beautiful to watch to say the least.

Tan Chong is very interesting. From ~RM1.30 to RM1.80 in the past 2 weeks and still people are not paying attention. We're looking at a very, very good long-term play here and 2018/2019 should be positive turnaround years for Tan Chong.
