Celcom has very better CS. This one I totally agreed.

My experience with Maxis CS is a lot better.

Xpax data after finished the quota from the internet plan, is it pay per use data or they just throttle the speed and no extra charge? or they only charge if you even finish the free basic internet of 10gb?

After finish basic internet. You cannot access internet at all.
Dulu senang nak sampai 500MB basic internet. Sekarang x tahu apela diorang buat boleh guna sampai 10GB basic internet speed cap 64kbps.... laugh.gif biggrin.gif

So sad now all Xpax plan change to latest rates call. Must be someone manager suggest this. All want profits. Don't care customer that use call more than data or not use data at all. As always, bad move from celcom. sad.gif

Probably, this is the bad after PPU rates charge back in 2014.
*
I see. Then it is still ok. Very scared to use those got no capped in speed but pay per use kind of service. Very easy to incur extra charges.

hotlink is better in calls. Rm60 plan is as good as its lowest end postpaid plan. Some more no need to pay GST.

I only try buying on Celcom Apps & SMS.
But the value for money Addon is SMS.

Buying either rm20 2GB monthly thru sms or buy direct from app rm30 5GB also OK.

Depending on celcom offer..
If you purchase RM20 2GB Monthly.

You can try 1st RM3 for 2GB..if cannot then
RM5 for 3GB.
So you will get RM20 + rm3 + RM3 + rm3
Mean you can get 8GB instead of 5GB
Even rm5 for 3GB.. you also get 8GB.

Extra 3GB if you were to buy this way.

ic. thanks a lot of the sharing. rclxms.gif

Good luck and update ya.
Sharing is good.

I notice the New Xpax Kelentong chances of getting add on RM3 for 2GB higher.

For old Xpax.. Mostly RM5 for 3GB Addon.

Above testing
After purchase of RM20 2GB Monthly on old & new Xpax
*
sure.

will try it and update here. tongue.gif need to purchase an internet plan for this sunday use.

i seriously think that hotlink has a better prepaid package than any telco which their prepaid package can easily beats a lot of postpaid package also. tongue.gif

the unlimited calls part is quite a strong advantage.

If it stated reload before 31 Dec 2017. Does it mean that I must top up before the stated date?
Meaning 30 Dec 2017 is the last day to top up to keep the credit?

What about the data? Since Xpax got the data carry forward function, does it mean that as long as I top up on 30 Dec 2017? If I top up, does it new. I can just continue to use the data straightaway as long as my line is active or I must activate another data plan in order to use the carry forwarded data?

That google problem not xpax.
All xpax simpack come with hardcopy manual. Unless user take only sim card and throw away  the paper.

Just use Xpax app. Easier and clear.

are you even sure that it can replace postpaid?
if you say that it can serve as a substitute postpaid for prepaid user, then that is acceptable.
if they make it replaceable, then everyone will go back to prepaid.
*
if u compare both the cheapest available postpaid and prepaid packages now, you know that prepaid can replace postpaid easily. The choice is obvious. I do not see a reason to use postpaid now. tongue.gif

RM30 vs RM84.80

FYI. Hotlink offers a lot a lot more value than its cheapest Maxis ONE postpaid plan as well.
I am not comparing Dxgx or YouMxbxlx because I will never use their services. tongue.gif

To me:
1) Green Telco
2) Blue Telco

Both are good choices. thumbsup.gif

Prepaid (XPAX)
Minimum expenses: RM30 (Monthly)

DATA:
15GB Hi-speed Facebook Internet (Limited time only)
FREE 10GB basic Internet
FREE 10GB hi-speed Facebook Internet
FREE 10GB Instagram on limited time offer

Data Rollover - unused Internet quota is be carried forward to the following subscription period.

CALL/SMS:
Calls at 30sen/min + SMS at 15sen/SMS

No GST

Termination
No Contract.

Postpaid (Celcom)
First Gold 20GB
Minimum Expenses: RM80 (Monthly) + RM4.80 (GST)

DATA:
10GB weekday + 10GB FREE weekend Internet (Only 5GB Weekend Internet comparing to XPAX)
FREE 30GB Video Walla™
Unlimited WhatsApp + WeChat

No Data Rollover - unused Internet quota is forfeited. - most people do not really use so much data on the move especially if they have high-speed Internet broadband at home unless you are constantly streaming videos, but if you do that even 15GB is never enough given the size of the video. So to most people, most of the data will be gone into waste if it is not utilized while XPAX does not.

CALL/SMS:
Unlimited calls to all networks - To most people nowadays normal voice call usage is minimum. Even there is no free call minutes, pay per use for XPAX the usage charge to most people will be minimum.

20 sen/SMS (to all networks) - SMS is not free and it is more expensive than XPAX

GST - RM4.80

Termination:
What happens if I terminate my plan?
You will be charged 1 full month of your package value on top of your outstanding bill amount.

laugh.gif Did you read T&C about bonus data valid for 3 days only for monthly plan... sweat.gif

Celcom is play cheat now. Free video walla or free anydaygb need to tie 1 year contract for lifestyle priveleges.. u can just take 1 freebies only & remember 1 year contract.
*
did I indicate (limited time only)?
Of course I am aware of this.

rm30 for regular 5GB no matter is a dirt cheap deal. for typical user, 5GB is more than enough. Even not enough rm50 option is way cheaper than postpaid.

did u read the t&s instead? free video walla has no contract but it is only valid for 12 months as Long as sign within the promo period. AnyGB is then need to tie with contract therefore I did not put it up as it is optional.

this is exactly the reason why I strongly recommend Xpax to replace the postpaid. Even hotlink has good deal as well.

Yea. Prepaid is more attractive bcoz it have more customer than postpaid.
Doubt postpaid will have more attractive plan as people use telco as mobile internet. While at home have wifi.
*
exactly, that’s why I seriously do not see a reason to use postpaid in any case. Rm30 only monthly spent for prepaid and again with so much more benefits than postpaid is certainly enough for a lot a lot of people.

Aiyoo...if you willing to pay rm30 monthly for 5GB.
Do it the SMS way ...only rm25 for 5GB and still got rm5 for call/SMS.

If you look hard enough....weekend also give unlimited as well.
*
i am just doing a comprehensive comparison.

i myself has no issue with the price of xpax. it is way way way cheap enough as compared to postpaid even includes the pay per use SMS/call charge.

anyway, SMS/call is not a concern to me since i do not use them.

i got 600mins free mobile/landlines call time on my unifi to any telcos.
