Currently is it possible to find a work that require no certificate in brunei for malaysian? I noticed that now most of the job is applicable to bruneian only.

Bruneianization going strong
I worked there between 2012-2013
Even then (when oil price was still good) they pushed and pushed for nationalization/localization in all sectors
Now it should be even more

please read carefully, some, not all.
one of them is contract stated to work weekends with both parties agreement, but missing in action and how to find replacement for that in the last minute?
worst is never inform supervisor.
but some are really professional and thumbsup.gif

Not really possible, even Bruneian degree holder face difficulty finding jobs. Unless you work for MNC that exist in Brunei.

- Been working for local Brunei company from 2012 till now. Localization is strong, govt pushing company to take more locals, but i dont think they thought it thru. Still few shortage on sveral position/jobs form what i can see. Maybe for another 5years.

- Most of theirs retail, restaurant (unskilled workers) comes from Indonesia or Phillipines, but you still need visa to stay and get a job.

no entertainment is good. can save money. hahaha. but if u are bored still can drive down to miri sarawak

living cost is not high. u can rent a room for less than B$200 (all in, electricities, utilities, c/w air cond, exclude furniture). food cheapest is nasi katok (malaysia is nasi lemak) cost $1 per pack.
for one meal cost around B$3 (economy rice, chicken rice, ) and above depending what u order.

if u wanna try ur chance why not. (stronger currency than msia) it is very difficult to work in brunei now due to the localization set by the government.

As I know, nope. Someone I know successfully apply as teacher, but that could be 1 in a million chance, but still no localization, he will never get freehold property there for the rest of his life probably.
