Not really possible, even Bruneian degree holder face difficulty finding jobs. Unless you work for MNC that exist in Brunei.

- Been working for local Brunei company from 2012 till now. Localization is strong, govt pushing company to take more locals, but i dont think they thought it thru. Still few shortage on sveral position/jobs form what i can see. Maybe for another 5years.
- Most of theirs retail, restaurant (unskilled workers) comes from Indonesia or Phillipines, but you still need visa to stay and get a job. |

Is 500< below enough to survive there? no entertainment is good. can save money. hahaha. but if u are bored still can drive down to miri sarawakliving cost is not high. u can rent a room for less than B$200 (all in, electricities, utilities, c/w air cond, exclude furniture). food cheapest is nasi katok (malaysia is nasi lemak) cost $1 per pack. for one meal cost around B$3 (economy rice, chicken rice, ) and above depending what u order. if u wanna try ur chance why not. (stronger currency than msia) it is very difficult to work in brunei now due to the localization set by the government. |

QUOTE(sohailili @ Mar 19 2019, 04:47 PM) As I know, nope. Someone I know successfully apply as teacher, but that could be 1 in a million chance, but still no localization, he will never get freehold property there for the rest of his life probably. This post has been edited by wingdover: Mar 20 2019, 05:58 PM |
