You get higher noise level with higher ISO setting.

Not with Fuji F31fd

Do you want to use the flash or not? Because as mentioned earlier you get one with higher ISO settings (1600) or in that range, you get a lot of noise. Personally I've tried with Sony Digicams on my old P90 and with the Canon S3, both also not easy to take good indoor shots in low light conditions.

Yeah, because Sony and Canon is crap for indoor picture.

Then what is ur recommendation bro? If using the flash....wut's the best compact camera then?
*
Only the Fuji F31fd is usable indoor. All other camera that said they can do 1600 is crap. Can throw already.

Come on. I thought we all know there's only 1 compact camera that can take picture indoor and that's Fuji F31fd. Nothing comes close except dSLR. All can throw to rubbish dump.

*
Yeah, that's right. dSLR > PNS anytime tongue.gif but at the expense of bulk.

actually..with the use of tripod
any cheap/normal camera can also snap pretty decent photo indoor
but u need to set f=2.8, shutter speed =1/2, iso =100, flash or no flash depend on situations

or just practice steady hand tongue.gif

boss, shutter speed at 1/2, all your object cannot move. Unless you're shooting mannequin, then you better of using high shutter speed with flash.
