Update:
DirectD at Federal Highway can replace the battery for you within 1 hour. Call them and check if they have stock, if they don't have stock you need to first go to DirectD and put in a deposit (~RM10), they will call you once they get the battery (they called me 1 day later in my case). Then go to DirectD with your phone and they will replace it for you in 1 hour.

Total cost: RM150 (if I remember correctly)

One thing though - the battery almost never charges to 100%, normally I see that it goes up to about 95% but it still lasts almost 1 full day so it's fine I guess.

I too, think 6P is still a good phone to let go. So glad to find this thread.. smile.gif

Anyway, went to the shop as recommended. Replacement done in an hour on Saturday evening, I think it could be much faster if it is on weekdays. Nevertheless, good service at a reasonable price (RM 120) with 3 months warranty.

Bumping this thread. Anybody here that knows the cost of replacing the screen? Screen cracked which for a few months was still working perfectly but today it suffered a screen burn in which makes you unable to use the touchscreen on the upper portion.

Huawei itself supposedly also does, you need to go to their service centre in Bukit Bintang. But the process in similar, call them first to check if they have stock. DirectD was easier for me as it's closer to where I live and a friend of mine who did it there was also happy with the result.

Just a note though, there will likely be very minor damage on the back of the phone after replacing the battery. My case was a slightly chipped back glass at the camera visor area but I use a case so it's not visible. My other friend had a slightly bent metal at the corner because they needed to pry open the phone - so the point at which they pried it open, the metal bent a bit.

I know the above is a very old post. My battery was draining very fast until at 15% it would switch off instantly.

I found this thread and sent to the shop recommended in Subang Square. So I thought I'd give a feedback to other owners. Got a new ori battery replaced in an hour. My battery life now is like new when I first purchased my 6p!

Highly recommended to change your battery considering how old the 6p is and this shop is 👍🏻

One caveat. Due to the construction of the phone I recall the shop telling me the screen need to be removed and something to do with the glue, the shop cautioned there may be scratch mark on the screen. If you accept the risk then they will proceed with replacement.
