Can anyone help me. I just purchased the deco e4 (2 units). Everything can connect to it except my astro with pvr. I have reset the astro box and it has forgotten the previous WiFi. Even after I input the correct password, it cannot connect to the deco. It does detect deco at full strength.
Next question, I need one more deco. But the only one I see selling is the m5 as a single unit. I can buy it and hook it up with the e4? My e4 currently are in AP mode and not router mode. I have disabled the WiFi on my router and it hooks from there.

Does the know what kind of cable does the deco e4 use? I need to extend the range and the current cable is too short

I have the Deco E4R. I noticed that there is firmware update version
1.4.3 build 20200918 rel 44982.
It says here fixes Wifi WPA2 encryption
Option to choose encryption type
Anyone tried it?
For my astro decoder problem, I resorted to connecting the astro via ethernet wire cable directly to the deco itself.

I have 2 units of TP link Deco E4. Been using it for 2 years with my 100 MB unifi line. There are some problems I notice.
1. I don't get 100 MB download on my devices. It usually tops up at 40+ mb, this is wifi 6, or phone as well. Any ideas? I tried internal NAS (wired)-PC transfer(wifi), and also see it tops at 40+ mb.
2. After two days of restoring my PC and steam library, my Note20 phone can no longer connect to the mesh. I've placed the correct password. Scan QR of a connected device-it says incorrect password. How come and how to fix this? It was fine previously. My phone also cannot connect to the Deco app, previously it was fine.
3. Is it possible to turn on QoS for selected devices? I want to use Steam link on my phone and Steam Remote play on another PC better. Latency of steam reamote play on the PC is great, even though, there are some graphical issues. Steam link on the phone is bad. Any ideas how to make this better?
Will better Deco units solve my problem?
