Hi, just bought an Deco X20 yesterday. After setting up the network, everything goes smooth.
Until this morning, when I tried to turn off the 2.4Ghz network, all devices lost connection. But when I turned on the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz network, all devices's connection up again.
Why is this happened?

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Oct 8 2020, 11:57 AM) Some of your receiving devices doesn't support 5GHz. Thanks should not be... i can say all of my devices are able to support 5GHz. I have tested setting up another unit of Deco X20, all of the devices are connected to 5GHz network.. And I have contacted to TP-Link support team, they suspect I get that unit is faulty and ask me to send it back for RMA. Sigh... Just received one day and the unit need to be sent for RMA.

Hi, I owned AX20 and was using it around 1 month, but only using with 1 unit.
I placed the main unit in living room, and recently i was setting up another unit at upstair. I noticed the transmission speed is significantly drop nearly 40 - 50%.
How can I make both units to transmit at the max. speed? I heard of the ethernet backhaul, but, are there any other solutions?
Also, I have another issue, the main unit in the living room, 1 ethernet port has connected to the modem, and i tried to connect my few laptops to another ethernet port, the laptops show no connection.

QUOTE(Momo33 @ Nov 19 2020, 06:53 AM) what unifi plan are you on ? your router upstairs is set AP and connect via Lan to main unit or ? 500mbps No I didn't. I just turned on 2nd unit and it automatically paired with the main unit. Then I placed it on upstairs.

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Nov 19 2020, 12:15 PM) eh, AFAIK, according to TP LINK, AX20 does not support mesh mode when using router + router. In your case 2 x AX20. How sure are you that the 2nd unit pair automatically? Hmmm... I made a huge mistake... the model I owned is Deco X20.... Sorry about that

Hi, I'm currently encountered an issue.
My setup is living room: modem -> main deco x20 room next to living room: second unit deco x20 upstair living room: third unit deco x20
I found that when I'm trying to connect to my laptop via the second LAN port of main deco x20, the network is not able to identify... trying to connect to other devices via the second LAN port also got the same problem.
My first thought is, maybe the second LAN port on the main deco x20 is faulty, but when I tried to change the cable which connected from modem to second LAN port, it's worked....
Is the main deco x20 not able to connect to other devices when it's connecting to the modem?
