Thought I would share me experience with Deco M9 Mesh Router. I'm using Unifi 100Mbps. As I was too eager to jump onto Deco M9, when I purchase it was only available in 2 packs. The reason I bought it as it will replace the AP from TM and the idea of MESH wifi coverage seems appealing.

The setup of the house is 2 and half story, with main Deco M9 installed at the living hall, followed by the 2nd router exactly above the living hall in what I call as my family room.

Initially the signal was ok, but later I realise the signal on the 3rd floor was intermittent. The room on the 3rd floor (work space) was exactly above my master bedroom (next to family hall). When I started using it, speed was good, but later the signal may get lost.

Moved the 2nd router to my master bedroom and all of a sudden the it is not able to connect to the main Deco M9. I'm still scratching my head as to why the signal (connectivity between the 2 routers) are that bad.

Waiting to get my hands on 1 pack Deco M9 (according to TP-Link it will be released soon). I'm keeping my fingers cross it that will fix the issue.

Need some advise on an issue I'm facing. I have a Deco M9 (2 pcs) and M5 setup (2 pcs) connected to Unifi. The main satellite Deco M9 (ground floor) is then connected to TP-Link powerline AV600 to the other M9 (1st floor) and M5 (2nd floor) also via powerline AV600. This has been going on for almost 1.5 years. Reason for using powerline is to ensure a stable connection since Deco allows Ethernet backhaul. However, recently, I suspect the powerline is facing some issue causing the M9 to get disconnected.

I'm thinking of replacing this entire setup with either
Deco P9 Mesh (3pcs) with built in powerline
or
X60 (3 pcs) with AV1300 powerline.

Wanted to hear your opinions on which way to go?

X60 has Wifi 6, has 4 antenna. Lot more pricier.

P9 has built-in Powerline, but only 2 internal antenna
