I've a C3150 for about 2-3 weeks, the only router on the network and connects to Unifi30 plan.

problem I'm facing is what I suspect to be the router hanging ? once in a while my internet will cut off randomly (but WiFi still connected) and I'm not able to ping or access the router login page (192.168.8.1 for me). When this happens , I can't access other devices on the network eg: printer (wireless) or NAS (LAN) ... even though WiFi is connected. Tried on my phone/desktop/laptop.

When pinging the router during this time, I either get a timeout or Destination Host Unreachable.

Takes about 5-10 minutes for the router to be accessible again. I tried to reboot the router via admin page , in 12h or 24h intervals but hanging problem still persists. Sometimes a few times a day, sometimes can go 2 days without issue.

Firmware is the latest per admin page. Any ideas on what is causing the issue ? No problems in the 1st week and I haven't had any new devices added to the network since then.

Previously on Archer D7 (streamyx) ... perfectly smooth. Also is there a way to set Guest Network Bandwidth control on C3150 ? This was a feature on Archer D7 but missing on the newer models ?

using a C3150 and facing problem with the LAN ports.

I've connected 2 devices to LAN, 1 Synology NAS and 1 CCTV DVR. So here's my problem :

1. Synology link speed shows only 10Mbps ... downloading BT via Synology max DL speed is only 1Mbps doh.gif The Synology has a gigabit LAN , treid different cables still the same.

2. CCTV DVR shows connected and assigned valid IP address in C3150 admin page but I'm not able to connect or access CCTV admin page via the network. Tried setting static IP or DHCP, both comes out with "Destination Host unreachable".

Any idea what's causing the above issues with the LAN ports ?

Weird issue here, try updating to the latest firmware?

Do you have the V1 or the V2 hardware?

It's the v2 , latest firmware "Firmware Version:3.0.0 0.9.1 v005f.0 Build 170926 Rel.63400n"

did some experimenting today, and I'm suspecting it's something to do with the TPLINK UniFi profile ...

LAN1 I only used to set up Hypp TV on day one, after that disconnected and never used again. At that time no issue with LAN2 (Synology) and LAN3 (CCTV).

Today I plugged in another NAS to LAN1 and LAN3 (cctv) started working again while LAN2 completely died (meaning Synology IP not showing up in the router admin page ... while the new NAS ip was showing)

The NAS showed link speed at 1000Mbps ... while the Synology was previously only 10Mbps. Both are the same models.

Tried swapping the ports around and seems the router will only allow LAN1 and 1 more LAN to be active. so it alternates between LAN2,3,4 depending on which connects 1st. All these have static IP set on their respective devices so no chance of conflict and DHCP is set to .1-.15 only (again to avoid conflicts) . Only 2 IP will appear in the LAN admin page ... even if 4 devices are plugged in and running.

bought this router via Lazada in 2017 ... any idea if I can contact TPLINK directly for RMA ? understand the warranty is 3 years ? Although not sure how to classify the fault ... apart from this bug.

probably a no brainier, but just in case ... I've RMA-ed a 3150v2 router in 2019. Is the warranty effective from 2019 or 2017 when I first bought it ?
