Guys. I want to ask. Between AX20 and AX50, which one is much more better in terms of stability and speed for 100Mbps ? I'm thinking of changing my router since this AC1200 provided by TM keeps restarting on it's own and internet keeps dying even though I already make a good airflow from below. I heard that AX50 heats up pretty fast because of the Intel chipset. Anybody can confirm this or have any other suggestions ?

I got the TP Link AC1200. Keeps dc everyday now and also. it restarts on its own. At first it was ok but now everyday restart especially when I'm gaming.

Same. I bought at the same price but I'm on Shopee.

Thanks for your reply. Apparently, I think the router has already upgraded to latest EU firmware from TM themselves. Don't know if this is true but this is what the firmware is now.

EDIT: I saw the thread you mentioned before and there is a new 11/20 firmware but I've read the DC issue is still there but will happen in several days after the upgrade.

Ah that is a bummer. Thanks for the clarification. Guess I'll just change the router if the problem still there even in the newer update.

Any AX20 Users have upgrade to this new firmware ? Just got a notification through the Tether App today. Wonder is the update improves anything. Lately, the router is facing slow speed and disconnecting for 2.4Ghz and sometimes won't allow certain phone connect to the router. If anybody has some decent feedback regarding to this firmware, I might upgrade it later.

I updated around 5AM today and it's already running around 19 hours after the update. No issues at all. Quite stable like before. Just that after updating, you may need to key in your ISP Username and ID back into the router because it will not connect on it's own. Idk why. Other than that, it's alright.

Regarding to the access point mode, I don't use it. So, I can't really give a feedback regarding to that but it's probably ok since the main function is working fine.
