Bought an item at UBuy last nite amounting to RM1K (its a guitar accessory).

However the payment transaction failed on their paypal system, but the money still deducted at my debit card.

So I reported the issue to them via their customer message in their website. They said they will contact me back.

After reading your comments here, now I'm worried.

Will I get my money back?

In the end, I got my money back after 2 weeks working days.

The refund money was top-up in my account. But bear in mind that I had to keep on following up with them everyday to know the status and etc.

The bad thing about UBuy is they put the price without summing with the custom tax and delivery fee until last window payment process. You only get to know the final price after they deducted from your card. In which very diferrent from Amazon, E-Bay, Lazada and Shopee where they will inform you the final price in the last payment window before you can confirm the purchase.

Please, avoid UBuy at all cost.

I was checking out Contigo Travel Mugs on UBuy and it was all damn cheap. then realized the price differs from the list page to the item page. on top of that, the price listed is not final. the shipping charges is hidden. and when credit checked to pay - THEY DONT LIST THE PRICE ON THAT PAGE??! WTF - terus tak jadi beli. so i checked again - Sellers name and contact pun takde. warranty pun takde. So instead i tried to look for the UBUY customer service to complaint - turns out NO LINKS AVAILABLE on any page to the Cust. Service. So i went on Trustpilot as well bro before coming to lowyat. its dammn bad man. its a complete scam. Blardi Hell. Nasib Baik tak beli

ubuy still shit in 2020?

always buy from a reputable e-com store. at least you'll get protected from scammers. I did bought a fake product from Shopee, report it to customer service and got my refund within a week.
