Dear all,

I am new here. Great to read so much about guitars here. I played mainly classical guitar but recently swift to fingerpicking.
Well, I think I can help here regarding classical guitar. For Yamaha guitar, CG201s will be the best model in the CG series which is all-solid (Solid European Spruce & Solid Mahogany Back & sides) wchi I think is the best buy all-solid model classical guitar in the market. When you talk of Spanish made, there's a new brand imported by Guitar Collection named Madridgal are one of the worth buying spanish guitar. Alhambra are getting expensive nowaday which their lowest model start at RM1500.. THe most affordable classical guitar in the market with good quality, I will highly recommend Valencia Classical Guitar distribute by Woh Fatt. The Solid top model begin under RM500 compare to Yamaha C-80 with all-laminated wood which in the same price range. To get a good classical guitar or steel-string acoustic is the best that you get one with solid-top which not only better sounding but also in the long run, the sound improve. Of course, playability of a guitar will be one of the main factor to consider besider sound quality. For steel-string guitar, Woh Fatt recently focusing on Fina guitar which they have a few nice models including the Fina best model with Solid spruce top & maple back & sides (RM900) and another mid-range model come with Cedar top & ovangkol back & sides (RM680). Both the model sound better than any Yamaha FG700 series guitar that I played.
Taylor don't actually built classical guitar. The guitar that they're offering are actully a crossover nylon-strings guitar which specially degign for Crossover & Jazz guitar player.
Guys, hope the infos help.

Yamaha do not have 10 strings classical in their list. You try to contact Perf de Castro who is a professional 10 string classical guitar player in Philippine who now in US. He can also help you to locate some 10 strings classical guitar buider in Philippine which the price will be lower than those made in Spain. Check www.perfdecastro.com
