enjoy baroque as well...actually i find it a wonder...how can ppl at tat time make such strong melodical fundamentals tat are still used till today...

i hate moonlight sanota tho...personally find it boring cant seem to get the meaning of the song till today

PS: 1 thing about classical music....its concerntrate alot on fingering and sound amplification technique....even alot of teachers cannnot maintain it

reevex mind telling me wats the grading like in yamaha?grade 8 in 10 months???i took ABRSM but i stop at grade3...dont thnk there are much good honest teachers around...hard to find a good teacher...most just wanna brush to take exams n raise ur fees...

blacktrix..i took grade 3 straight..as i had piano background tat time...tho i forgotten alot but still i could read notes..so i took grade 3 straiht..was planning to take grade5 next but sucker mahagony didnt allow..want me to take grade4..wasting my money...theory wise i plan to take grade5 straight..cos u need a grade 5 theory to proceed to grade6 practical...likewise in piano...ive not taken any theory exams b4 but ive done many questions...early grades are still easy to self study..just gotto get urself agood text book.

this is if ur planning not to take yamaha..yes u can skip grades n take higher level grades...

actually tat takes practise...havent read notes since i started reading tabs..now my side reading sucks...actually if ur teacher allows u..u can do some crash course like i did..i started with the begining..learning the guitar parts n etc..then fingering..in 2 months i went to grade 2...then in about 2 months more i started playing grade 3 stuff then took the exams...then later...played grade 4 stuff...n decided to take grade 5..save money...

@ReeveX i bought my spanish guitar at arond 1k "Frudencio Laez" its handmade spanish..pretty cheap considering the price...sound wise...it was damn good..somehow i think my ears got immune to it.,it sounds normal now...but the 2k n above series were freakin nice...the necks are think n nice to grip as well ...cos i got small hands...haha...

i bought it in the techniques(i think its spelled this way) in midvalley....i doubt they hav this brand anymore tho.

u may be right bout the name u know.. cos i cant read the damn cursif writing on my guitar...i got it from rhapsody in midvalley...was introduced by my instructor as well...nice guitar..nice neck...love the frets...looks like mahagony but im not too sure wat wood is it..cos its not as dark as mahagony..

foogie...the easiest thing is using ur fingers man...i cant play with a damn pick...haha...my speed is alot faster with my fingers...common u were born with ur fingers not picks...ofcourse u have better control over them...er...actually..maybe im just weird...but i suck with a pick..there was a long period of time where i would only strum my electric guitar with a pic..n pluck with my fingers..i use my nails btw...so it doesnt sound so blunt...but i had to apply nail polish.hha..string kept chipping my nails off.

i was thinking of selling my classical since i dun play it much..but kinda attached to it la..haha..alot of memories..n yea got 1 scratch when the string snap also.doubt ppl would wan it at a high price

but at that price...u can get a spanish guitar...y settle of crappy yamaha?i honestly dun like yamaha classical guitar...too pricy....not worth the sound as well...not takin wood n necks material into consideration btw...

only thing is ppl keep buying these fancy brands..no 1 is really willing to take in classical guitars...cos its expensive...n they order in really small bulks..like 3-5 pieces...normally end up sellin 2 only.

yea..the brace thingy is true..and depends on the brands as well..im not too familiar with the brands but there are some brands tat are really crap...but sells good cos its cheap.

thanks PSY84 for the name of the teacher..will keep his name into mind....alot chaplang teachers out there lately..teachin electric guitar n stuff..iron wood has 1...teaching electric..i know the dude gf's...hes not tat good la....compare to some other teachers i know...no idea how he got the job as well....wats the req to be a teacher nowadays?dun need cert anymore?
