Whats up guys...Im new her!! just want to share some idea..ive read all of ur posting and i find it very intresting coz i myself is crazy abt acoustic guitar...i owned ibanez PF60 last time before i got my Epiphone EJ series that is 12 string guitar with sunburst color, i also owned one GRETSCH acoustic guitar (Which is very rare) natural spruce wood color..ths 2 guitar dnt have any pickup but ive bought Seymour Duncan SA1 pickup and it sounds very good but i hate it coz i have to attach and take it out evrytime i need to change guitar..I really need a acoustic guitar wif pickup with it, so it will be easy..Do you guys have any idea where i can get the FISHMAN pickup and the installation too??I thought of installing the pickup to my guitar..or anyone like to trade thier guitar wif me??I like Taylor guitar, their the best!!

I think Mahogany SS2 sells Fishmans and does installation for ya and no I don't think I'll trade my taylor for your guitar. smile.gif

What is the price range of taylors in malaysia? I've seen the price list but it is all in USD. Was thinking of migrating from my Norman to a Taylor.  drool.gif

I think they're about 4k upwards. Baby Taylors are about 1k+. I got mine at a deal actually. I think the Retail price was 9k+ originally, was bought by a staff in Mahogany at cost, then some customer knocked and scratched a tiny section of the side while trying out the guitar.... he had to raise some funds quick for his wedding....and voila...I had a custom Taylor .... thumbup.gif

I agree to most posts a 2nd hand Taylor is better than some expensive Yamahas or etc...

If I am not mistaken the bigger the body, the more bass and volume. So if you are gonna play without any amplification go for bigger bodies. If you are recording or playing in concerts you would be better off with a smaller body. Less resonance would result in less incidence of feedback and a clearer cutting sound. Your soundman will love you.
