i think nail keeping methods differ for each guitarist, especilly when they are playing different styles.
for me, i just keep it slightly above my finger tips. so that i can actually make the plucking sound to be more ..."powerful"?, hard to explain... it is like short busts of sounds...like those jazzy type...
