Rakuten is offering free accounts opening for both cash and contra for now. Is there any implications if open both but only use cash account?

Question guys, If I perform two transactions for the same stock/counter. Will I be charged double for the transaction cost? I mistakenly bought the wrong amount and proceeded to buy my total wanted amount on the second transaction. In my orders I see two transactions, but in my trade history it seems to have merged both transactions into one? Thus only charged the transaction cost of 1 transaction?
