Hi folks,

Rakuten only can have one bank account at any time? I just tried to transfer fund to it, maximum only RM30k, seems like FPX restriction for personal account.

Any idea how to transfer more per day?
*
Wow tycoon sailang-ing here šŸ˜„

On a serious note yea I think that’s the limit per day, based on the FPX restriction

ahah thought is 1 account for individuals only. Okay, means can have another account with rakuten.
will sign up tomorrow, but still not sure which account i should take - whether the cash only or margin is better.

Thoughts?

Cash Upfront will be better, don't mess with the rest.

"Loyalty Point Expiry
You have 230 points that will expire on March 2021.
Please login to your Rakuten Trade account via web or mobile app to redeem the points before end February 2021."

I just received this message from RT. After checking, apparently this "loyalty point" is different from the RT points (that I convert into BonusLink points normally). There is 0 info on how to claim it. In fact I didn't even know they existed. Anyone has experienced the same thing before?

Don't Rakuten send email for buy/sell transactions performed? Bought some lots on 10/2 but no emails..
*
Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. From my experience most of the time they do. It's not an official statement but just the primary details of your transaction. For the statement just go to the desktop version and download them.

I have a question about Rakuten, Im newbie here.

I have currently holding 3 stocks. 2 stocks negative P/L, 1 with positive P/L..However in RT portal, it indicates my total 3 stocks holding are in Loss category. Any idea why?

Is the profit very small? Sometimes the brokerage fees are accounted for

Check again. The fees have different tiers. You can refer to the FAQ on their websites.
rakuten slightly cheaper below 1k, slightly higher between 1-10k, same as hlb above 10k.

Thanks for the info, not exactly the most ā€œcompetitiveā€, it’s almost the same

Isn't that the definition of competitive?
But anyway glad it helped.

Competitive pricing means lower in price than your competitors, but the difference here is rather negligible. Even M+ is at this rate.

That said I’m still sticking with Rakuten for its general convenience.

2. mean to say rakuten is also a brokerage firm like kenanga and not merely a trading platform? hence what i do in raguten hv nothing to do with kenanga? if that is the case, can i still buy sell via kenanga cds using raguten? or naturaly all transaction is effected in rakuten cds n i dont hv choice to opt for kenanga cds?
*
As for as I know both are separated entity so you can’t do that

hi, i have few questions here.
1) may i know if i sell a stock, the amount sold will immediately update in trading limit right?
2) why my trading limit amount is different with the cash balance? or it take few days to update?
3) why sometimes i couldn't buy stock (it say the order exceed the trade limit) with an amount slightly lower than trading limit, then i only able to buy stock when reduce the quantity of stock few hundreds ringgit below the trading limit
*
1. Yes

2. Follow the T+2 rule, you’ll get the balance 2 working days after the trading.

3. They factor in the brokerage fees, stamping fees and tax and I believe also a small margin of safety. If you cant get it just reduce the amount by 1 lot.

Feel free to PM me if you have any difficulties

Rakuten Trade

Currently what is the % of interest when I leave my capital in Rakuten without trading? And how frequently are they credited?

Thank you.

I saw in their website its 1%? wondering how this 1% computed? base on the lowest balance of the month or overnight interest?

> found the answer from previous post, computed daily.

Thanks

Rakuten, why spouse contact number and employer contact number is mandatory in update profile?
I think you collect too much unrelated info
