QUOTE(cucubud @ Jun 17 2017, 02:06 PM) I applied for the swap from Ruby Pack to Jumbo Lite Pack on Thursday. 20 minutes ago TM called to confirm the swap. 5 minutes ago received the SMS to inform the swap has completed. Checked and confirmed Jumbo Lite channels are in and Ruby channels are out. Swapping means no extra charges?

LeonTan pwlow & TM agents, need your advice:
My brother has been using VIP10 for >5 years with a nice phone number 03-xxxxxxxx. I have just install Unifi Lite for 2 months with 07-zzzzzzzz a random phone number. My brother will be terminating his VIP10 so can I request TM to replace my number 07-zzzzzzzz with his number but starting with "07", ie 07-xxxxxxxx.
p/s : answer should be highly unlikely, diff states.

QUOTE(cucubud @ Jun 18 2017, 12:07 PM) Those who got the free upgrade from VIP5 to Unifi Lite 10 will still be using the STB as well as the HyppTv Everywhere. QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jun 18 2017, 02:04 PM) Oh isit? But the installer told me that for unifi lite, port 4 for hypp tv will be disabled by default therefore disabling hypp tv. Those who upgrade from vip5 to lite are still using d old STB with port 4 enabled

QUOTE(lukemanz @ Jun 24 2017, 11:43 AM) This is correct, but before 20 Jun 2017 only. 20 Jun 2017 onwards, PSTN & Streamyx customer can bring the number to be UniFi phone number. Customer who already using UniFi, and got extra PSTN number (got 1 line unifii + 1 line pstn at the same premise) also can bring the number to be UniFi phone number right now. Can be requested at TMpoint If this is true, GREAT

Same situation for me, but I opt to keep my old number so old account still there but paying rm1/month, ask TM to refund my overpayment of rm100 to my Unifi account but was told will take 2 months. QUOTE(alien3d @ Jun 28 2017, 12:15 PM) Old times, i think just need road address. i have no objection if they want to pm.. Even thou tm provide the service checking at their website but sometimes not updated. An agent can push and check if there was mistaken port like i does.. Port actually not full 7/8 for 10/10 port . but they said full. An agent can push to check again either port really full or not. An agent can provide service either to changed from aneka to jumbo lite maybe ? Syfi maybe.. If no agent push here, maybe the unifi lite don't even exist to prolong to end of raya.. It's like we can assume agent here can provide first level support rather then thinking they profit just 1 month.. Un much really. I'm not an agent yeah.. Do please support good people agent here .. please.. We need some representative to talk quick to tm people without waiting their tm website or go to tmpoint .. Supporting all agent here pwlow LeonTanFrom what I read since v1 these agents had help many here to subscribe Unifi Lite when they faced obstacle at TMselfservice n TMPOINT. May be the approach is not allowed.

QUOTE(santik @ Jul 2 2017, 09:32 AM) Q: Can I retain old phone number? A: Yes with RM1 chargeable monthly. I had an older copper telephone number. TM said it cannot be ported over to Unifi Lite, as it has its own number, to remain copper telephone number rental RM25 as before. Applied about 16/19 June. But according to lukemanz on post1321, since 20June one is allowed to retain old number for Unifi Lite n don't need new number.

After checking, they said it is for new packages signed up after 20June, but will check further whether older subscription can do d same.

QUOTE(lukemanz @ Jul 2 2017, 01:36 PM) BTW, bringing old telephone number to UniFi is free (1 telephone number only for unifi). However, if we choose to maintain the old telephone number and plus new number for unifi (1 old telephone number + 1 new number for unifi), we will get 2 telephone lines. The old telephone number is charged RM25/mth. However, application before 20June will maintain charged at Rm1/mth. In other words, TM is requesting us to terminate the copper line after we switch to Unifi. I think this new rule applicable to unifi advance and pro too Hope the agents in post#1 will contribute views on such issues n make clarification if necessary as these affect your potential customers. I myself wanted to find out: 1. Can those installations b4 20June request to use d old number to replace the new VOIP number? 2. Can we choose to retain both phone lines but switch the numbers?

QUOTE(lukemanz @ Jul 3 2017, 02:17 PM) Sorry. For the 2nd question, the number at unifi cannot switch to copper. The number at copper line can switch to unifi at the same exchange. Free for new unifi, rm25 for existing unifi. Im currently waiting unifi to my place. The fiber cabling already being laid behind my house. And the phone number from copper is frequently being use by my family. Dont want to change the number. TQ, good for u, looks like early birds don't catch the worms but have to pay xtra rm25.

QUOTE(lukemanz @ Jul 3 2017, 01:45 PM) Older subscription can do the same. However, it is not free and have one time fee rm25 per number for change number fee Install Unifi Lite in may2017, went to TMPOINT Damansara Utama to request for old DEL number to replace new VOIP number, wanted to charge rm25, but after some persuasion d CS will try to waive d charges.
