i just applied for the unifi lite plan,
the tm point staff mentioned that i need to return my old streamyx modem.

which is not functioning and replaced more then 10 years ago.
is it true that i need to return it or ill get rm500 fine ?

Only Unifi customer need to return Unfi Modem which is cost RM500. Unfi Modem is life time warranty.

For streamyx customer is not need to return modem, the streamyx modem just only have 1 year warranty.

TM counter stuff sometime very blur, u may ask thier branch manager come out to clarify on it.

Can someone confirm on the upfront payment RM500? My unifi lite suddenly cannot connect. Contact TM CS they ask whether has made the upfront payment. I was like WTF? What upfront payment? I thought free installation and free registration. Need to pay the 1st month bill only

Go to TMPoint to terminate yr subscription. Apply for Unifi Lite RM129 (RM137 incl of GST), and you will not enjoy 600min free calls, HyppTV STB, and you agree for another 24months contract.
*
Do not cancel it before you get the new cause you might face the port full issue and you will not have chance to get the Unifi so soon if port full happen in your area.

Already mentioned in Bajet 2017. Half Price and Double Speed in 2 years.
It is likely to appear again at BN's manifesto for PRU14.
Also, TM's SUBB project is set at 20Mbps as minimum.

not 10Mbps ah ? Is 10Mbps la . If not they come out Unifi Lite.....this is to fullfill SUBB project . bruce.gif

Don't waste time on TM Reward Points. You need to accumulate 4-5 bills/months before you are able to redeem RM5.
It is better to sign up for direct debit and you get RM2 discount every month (only if debit amount >RM20).
If you want to save more, use your cashback credit cards and pay TM in advance (1 week before the bill date) and leave RM22 +/- for direct debit.

Yes, pay with those credit card that offer online 5% to 6% cash rebate card.
