Been using IOS for 5 years, love the speed, fluidity, stablity and better app quality.

Changed to android because fucuking too many constrains in IOS. Transfer one file also susah. IOS can't even transfer using cable without itunes installed. I can live with a laggier phone.

i do love iOS... cz its fluidity too... but, still i just dont understand why android cant be as fluid as iOS despite equip wif latest tech... is it due to lots of different kind of android build... asus, lg, and so on.. hmm.gif

I dont see ios as more superior to android. Their only advantage is their os are created specifically for a 1 model. But when the new os applies to older models, the lag will be there. So ifags have no choice but to buy new models if they wish to continue to feel the 'lag free' enviroment. Android on the other hand, 1 os but need to be modified to suit hundreds of phone models.

On app development is also the same. App dev for ios can just tweak their app to suit 1 or 2 models only, while android app dev have to tweak their app to suit thousands of models. Problem will arise.

To say tech geeks prefer iphone is pretty stupid. To me tech geeks likes to tinker with the tech infront of them. Ios being a closed enviroment os doesnt allow much of this. Unlike android ( although currently i see android is slowly following ios ).

skip all those android with manufacture menus

android vanilla is the way to go

use a pixel or any nexus phones and you'll understand

IOS - for user (rakyat mahrain) 1 designs fits all

android - for more technical inclined users customization open for all

Everybody definition of lag is different. Some ppl, a small lag , also u call lag. Some ppl freaking bad lag like those old samsungs and asus then only call lag.

How bad is your lag? Post video la. Btw , ur mini 2 is pretty old. So some minor lag is not surprising.
*
Very noticeable lag that didnt happen when new. Enter an app takes 3 seconds longer for example, and when switching screens from one to another there would be 1-2 seconds of delay where it never existed last year.

But my ipad is basically unchanged much from new too. Not much apps installed. So i dont think there is anything that would consume ram until it lags. Only used for safari, youtube, fb and occasional candy crush. Basically thats it. ios oso never update since it came out of box because we all know new ios would bog down older i devices. Ios7 still, i think.

The lag still occurred even after restarting. Deswai i garu kepala, despite how ppl praise the fluidity and smoothness of ios and i devices but if it still lags after 1-2 years of use, then it is nothing to shout about being better than android anyway.

before comment or reply, u guys better stick into your brain

samsung not equal to android
many phone manufacture uses google's android os add in their stuff blend it and sell the phone. the phone lag then complain that particular phone model not the android itself. phone manufactures uses all different hardware for this android os, while ios solely target to specific version of iPhone.

App store. Google play store with the ios app store manage different. Google allow u throw shit to play store without verify unless someone flag that app, so it all up to the app developer to manage well their own app to various of hardware performance, screen resolution etc... while ios app, when u release to the store there are a team of ppl who will verify your app, once passed your app only appear in the app store (controlled)

SO.

those who like to make many noise yet fail to learn - save money and get yourself iPhone, it truly save your time

those who know what you are doing, get a pure android or etc, rock you years in terms of software stability, concern is hardware only.

I just want to know... are you typing the whole wall of text on mobile?

I don't really care if you prefer S8 or iPhone. It's your freedom.

You should change, my ipad mini 2 is a lag fest, the suey thing is that after i updated to ios9 the ipad become bad, then ios10 with the press home to unlock become even shittier (due to no touch ID). Suggest u to change to ipad mini 4 with more ram.
Ipad mini 2 with 1gb ram cant do much, my safari reloads only with 2 tabs.

FYI stupid samsung droid has better spec but yet still lose to iphone when do comparison. why? because stupid Samsung + android
*
You rant just user experience rant not technical standard comparison.

And SAMSUNG not related to ANDROID.. they just build phone.. not the operating system. Be committer and rant better asking user experience.

Iphone much focus on optimization while java more focus on what can be used as max. That's a different world.

To me android is more user friendly then IOS.

I can rant houndred thing about IOS..

What the most annoying of IOS

1. It's freakin annoying to update when file over 100 MB
2. It's freakin annoying to update 5GB xcode if new 10.XX version come out .. It's not even list the update apple store.. Need to search and install manually..
Talk about User Experience for developer. It's freakin annoying..The worst.
