Hardware Q&A smile.gif

for all i know, you should ask there and no need to open up new thread, FYI, all known graphic card manufacturer release its PCI-e card, so, i think it'll be easier, if you ask more detail, say (you said you going to get 7300GT), so that'll be easier, Palit, Galaxy, Colourful, LeadTek, XFX, eVGA and Asus to name a few, they produce good 7300GT with good overclocking and bundle stuff.

I'll vote for Winfast / Leadtek thumbup.gif for it's OC-ability and also premium bundled stuffs inside without the premium price tag like Asus or Gigabyte. Bsides, it's really reliable too.

Another vote for Galaxy for it's good OC-ability and also budget price tag without the unnecessary add-ons such as games or bundled applications. thumbup.gif

i heard xfx warranty covers 3rd party stuff....like once u sell ur gc to other ppl as 2nd hand that new fella who buyed ur gc will also be covered up waranty stuff...not sure how it works also...evga have the step up program but i think that wont be valid for us in malaysia cuz i heard only if u buy the product in the US store...the best of all is evga and xfx will also waranty if u oc ur gc...i think bfg also got

QUOTE
XFX have taken this a step further in North America, where they're offering a lifetime warranty that protects your video card, and its next owner provided that you register the video card on XFX's website. The warranty only includes GeForce 6 and GeForce 7-series video cards purchased in the United States, and the full warranty will be passed on to the second owner providing they also register the card online. At present, we don't have any indication as to when this warranty will be rolled out across Europe, but we hope that it'll be in good time.
QUOTE
BFGTech's lifetime warranty protects the owner of the card and will mean that you receive a free upgrade should your card be damaged beyond repair. We've championed BFGTech's support in the past, after experiencing it first hand - it's definitely recommended.

Malaysia is a warm Country, some might not using air con. I tested Gigabyte 8600GT silent pipes without fan cant withstand long hours gamings, it juz hanged or stuck. Putting 1 80mm fan still not enough, but require 2 of them.. I'm not 1st who complaining u try google around see hows feedback. I've seen some shop carry full range Gigabyte mobos, but they've discontinue gigabyte silent pipes & replace by XFX or Asus. I would like compare how well can gigabyte OC compare Palit, Colorful or Inno3D.

8600GT kar...? even active cooled 8600GT is quite hot... i know silent pipe is a bad technology but may i know how u put ur fan and wat kind of fan u use...? unsure.gif
BTW... who ask u to take 8600GT silent pipe when THIS is available...? brows.gif

dont think so

atleast the poll shows

that asus will be dethrowned..

lately their gc's are not that overclockable for the high end.

but their steps with the 8600gts top is very impressive

XFX warranty is 2 years for Asian Region. Regardless the location u bought, RMA for Asian user will be send to HK branch. Thus, the cover will be according to user region.

As for Asus, I think most people think that Asus it is the brand that established here very long and strong. In fact, Asus is now have hard time to compete with other VGA manufacturer such as EVGA and BFG in North America market.

That is proved by the fact that EVGA become #1 brand in USA for VGA.

For me all the same. Not much of a difference really. That's because i overclocked every single card that i got and change the stock fan with a better one. tongue.gif
