I always thought the setting simply means to fit a native 16:9 to the new 18:9 ratio size (factoring the 0.5 for the nav bar). It shouldn't hide the nav bar right?

It only hides during videos and games.

actually the sensors are on the top, so swipe it up there, wont touch any nav buttons one.

No tempered glass will promise no fingerprint collection la.

Even if they apply the best oleoohobic coating it's still a coating it wears off.

I suppose what justifies the price its that this tempered glass is able to contour perfectly to the edges of the s8. And there are no paints, means no messy ugly glue. The entire tempered glass has to be adhered by hand.

Similar to the white done and that thing isn't cheap too.

I understand from their staffs there they apply a thin sheet before applying the adhesive and finally the glass. This is to make sure the glue doesn't fuck up the actual screen panel.

Until doctors and pharmacies give warranty on supplements, I can't take you seriously.

Nothing beats a naked screen. The factory oleophobic coating is just beyond comparable. Tempered glass can, at their very least emulate such fingers on feel but that still means you don't get to feel the screen directly, minus the fuss of getting the right cases daa daaa daaaaa...

But unless you use a flip case, which I'm sure many dont, you will scratch your phone. It doesn't matter your glass is apa gorilla, the scratches are left on the coating not on the glass.

ThAt's why u see so many gurus will teach you how to buff your scratches.

You apply mild polishing agent like toothpaste and buff the coating and scratches gone. By doing that your phone loses its oleophobic property.

Best way to rest is to put it under running shower.
