Hey sports fans,

It's going to be an exciting line up for Winning Eleven: Pro Evo Soccer fans from the 31st of March to the 15th of April 2007 with a tournament happening at the Subang Parade IT Fair.

Please see picture below for more information.

7/8 April - Preliminary (128 players)
14/15 - Finals (top 64 players)

For game rules, see next post.

Registration is free and if you need to train, come by any time during the IT Fair to train as there will be free PCs. Gamepads will also be provided if you don't have any.

FYI, Winning Eleven: Pro Evo Soccer is the new version that combines both European and American/Japanese versions so there will only be one title in future.

1. 10min per half
2. Camera wide
3. 3 subs
4. Winners of each group will be determining by accumulating points:
WIN - 3 points DRAW - 1 point LOSE - 0 point. (Applicable for League on 14th and 15th April 2007)

. An umpire will adjudicate each match and decision shall be final.
. For any reason a player withdraws from the tournament at any time, their opponent will win with a walkover.
. No penalty kicks for draw games.

Updated rules 12.04.07

Please be present at Subang Parade, 10am for a briefing. The tournament will start at 10.30 am sharp. Also, the 32 finalists will be re-drawn into the groups so the previous schedule is no longer usable.

Players need to be present as there is a need to do the drawing by you.

All 32 finalists' players will be playing and therefore any latecomer will be disqualified.

The earlier we begin, the better it will be.

Home & Away Knockout Game
1. Team Selection: Clubs only
2. Time: 10min per half
3. Camera Angle: Camera wide
4. Substitutions: 3 Subs
5. Away game - Yes
6. Away goal - No
7. Extra Time - Golden Goal
8. Penalty Kicks - Yes
9. Player Condition: Random
10. Weather Condition: Fine
11. Time: Day
12. An umpire will adjudicate each match and decision shall be final.
13. For any reason a player withdraws from the tournament at any time, their opponent will win with a walkover.

The 15th of April 2007 will be a league game for the top and all of the above rules will still apply.

The preliminary is knock-out rite? Can we register 2nd time(at 2nd day) if we lose on the first day? and for the finals... how the format? League for all 64 players? or like World Cup?

dude.. how bout the kits and stuffs? as far a im concern, not all teams are licensed.. do u want me to provide an option file for that?

i dun think that's acceptable to some person. because some option file has been edited to the extent that his favourite team is the best on the planet.

it means u register before the tournament, there will be no need to re-register but simply be present on the day.

And for the rules, the 1st rule says for preliminaries, a single-knockout rule will be applied. Number 10 says the league format will only applicable to the top 32.

If there is 128 players participate in preliminaries, there will be 64 winners rite? Does this mean that on 14th n 15th, there will be another single knock-out rule to find the top 32? Hope can clarify on this... tq

there will be 128 players plit into 2 groups, 7th and 8th, that means 64 each. on each day, there will be 64 to 32 to 16 players, all single knockout.

then on the 14th, the 16 (from 7th) + 16 (from 8th) will play another knock out to the top 8 remain and then we will have a league. This is because the organiser of the IT fair could only provide us 4 PCs, as there's another mini competition happening.

also, sorry for the late reply, been too busy running around getting the tournament ready.

Please be there by 10am for a briefing, do inform all of your friends who are participating to be there. DO NOT MISS the briefing, it is important to get everyone there on time so that the tournament can start early and end early.

then the tournament will commence at 11am.

mr kong...i'm from malacca...maybe arrived pudu around 10am..n need time to go to subang parade...can u arrange my match a bit late... ???

4 PCs only? And that means 1 person per PC or every match will be conducted using 1 PC? When I went there last week, the LCD monitor were quite small and will be uncomfortable if 2 persons share same PC.

i have a proposition.

let say, there is 16 qualified contestants from each day (7th & 8th)
so there is a total of 32 contestants.

i think, better u use the champions league formats for this 32 contestants

32 divided into 8 group (like champs league) = we get 4 for each group

then 2 top teams from each group will advance..

then the rest just like champs league formats; (home n away match for 2nd round, quarter final, semi final) then the most anticipating final..

with 8 PC's to use, i think there is no problem..
hope mr kong the nice guy will think about this..

hope you guys in this thread also could give ur opinions on this..
