Anyone from Equine park area (postcode 43300) already have their speed upgrade?

Waiting for so long... speed upgrade done --> from 10Mbps to 30Mbps!
Location is in 43300~ going to test it tonight after work~

Tested just now... confirmed it's 30Mbps

Need new STB? No problem... renew contract.

Warranty cover up to 1 year.
Renew contact will get new device.

How much you pay for monthly bill?

RM10 cheaper than mine RM159!

oh okay... some lucky unifi user already completed 2-years contract received free upgrade to 10Mbps.
Later TM called to give new offer by pay extra RM10 per-month (become RM159) in order to get new speed 30Mbps, then by this year can get free upgrade to 50Mbps!

Well... do it right away and file a complaint!

The infrastructure is ready doesn't mean it is UNIFI ready, still need to wait for TM to activate it.
It took nearly three months to have UNIFI ready after they setup Fiber Distribution Point (FDP) in alley just behind my house, some maybe take longer time!
Be patient and follow-up with TM closely on this matter.

Normally Agent go around and get someone sign-up with them to get more commission once FDP is in place.
They cannot do much, still need to refer to TM.

Yes... it will get activated, just the matter of how long we have to wait for TM.

I had the same situation early this morning.
After press on "Modify Bundle", it will open new page to https://www.tm.com.my/singleboxslof/Pages/GetItNow.aspx , together with my details in it.
As mentioned in checkbox, it stated "I understand that by clicking on the 'Submit' button, I am allowing TM to contact me on Broadband related information, updates and promotions. " before you submit it

I am no idea too... want to check my current bundle package is not possible and it gone after upgrade to new speed.
Perhaps it will be good to give TM a call to check about it

I just ended my Live chat session with TM to change my Aneka pack to Jumbo Lite Pack.

Accordingly to the TM representative, there will be one time charge RM5 for this change, the monthly fee remain as RM30 per month, since Aneka and Jumbo Lite are same price.
He need to create a case for this swap, estimated will be completed within three working days and I shall be informed via SMS.

To my surprise, he mentioned that this swap will renew my HyppTV contract to one year, but there will be no extra one year warranty for HyppTV box.
Only if I renew Unifi contract, then all my equipment will get extra one year warranty.

Yup... aware of it, really WTF when notice someone can get 50Mbps with Jumbo hypptv package for RM159, so luckly!

For me, I'm consider lucky to get 30Mbps (after free speed upgrade) together with Aneka HyppTV package for RM159.
Since I already switched to Jumbo Lite (same price as Aneka), price remain the same but have to tie to one year HyppTV contract.

Recommended to renew the contract, then replace it for free.
Else you may ended up like my bad experience in last year - RM300 for STB:



** I managed to get TM to cancel this charges via complaint as TM Technician told me it is FREE and no charges.

Renewal of two years contract, no extra charges.
Yes, RM300 is the brand new STB (white box) with the configuration done by TM technician.

Good for you, sooner later get 50Mbps with RM169, are you taking Aneka package?

Can't switch to other HyppTV package?
Only Jumbo is RM60 per-month, while the rest - Aneka, Varnam, Sports, Ruby and Jumbo Lite are RM30 per-month.
Maybe you need to voice out again to switch it.

Oh okay... thought you may need to switch it.
Since you are more in to internet line, whatever HyppTV package you get doesn't matter.

Well.. I wish that HyppTV that can be removed too, but it is their TM decision that subscribe internet line must comes with HyppTV.
No HyppTV no internet line... they monopolize local market and we have no choice.

My Swedish colleague was surprise with our local Unifi package previously during casual talk.
Anyway... we have to live with it until there is a new competitor on the market can make the change.
