QUOTE(muhammadnajmi96 @ May 12 2017, 03:49 AM) Any chance to get the new stb? Mine is the old grey one from 2011 and sometimes disconnect while watching huhu Need new STB? No problem... renew contract.QUOTE(kming @ May 12 2017, 04:03 AM) I am just curious. Do TM gives out new STB if one is broken down after a year and I am still subscribing to unifi. Warranty cover up to 1 year.Renew contact will get new device. |

QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ May 15 2017, 10:27 PM) oh okay... some lucky unifi user already completed 2-years contract received free upgrade to 10Mbps.Later TM called to give new offer by pay extra RM10 per-month (become RM159) in order to get new speed 30Mbps, then by this year can get free upgrade to 50Mbps! QUOTE(fruitie @ May 16 2017, 12:29 AM) Well... do it right away and file a complaint! |

QUOTE(Tamsin @ May 16 2017, 11:54 AM) anyone can recommend any unifi agent to me? 2 months ago, TM workers come to pull Unifi wire to my house lorong but until now they tell me that Unifi is still not available when it was already available in my taman over a year ago The infrastructure is ready doesn't mean it is UNIFI ready, still need to wait for TM to activate it. It took nearly three months to have UNIFI ready after they setup Fiber Distribution Point (FDP) in alley just behind my house, some maybe take longer time! Be patient and follow-up with TM closely on this matter. |

QUOTE(JohnLai @ May 16 2017, 04:38 PM) In my case .......I still haven't got my unifi installed on second house. Normally Agent go around and get someone sign-up with them to get more commission once FDP is in place.Fiber cable installed for more than a year without FDP. Distribution box installed on end of Feb 2017. Agent came around neighbourhood* and convinced me to sign up with promise of 30 --> 50Mbps in beginning of March... Until now, no update aside from agent informing me to wait until end of June for installer to call. They cannot do much, still need to refer to TM. QUOTE(westlife @ May 16 2017, 05:32 PM) If can see the distribution points, it means everything is on green light already. Yes... it will get activated, just the matter of how long we have to wait for TM. Sure will get activated. Mine is one month time later after the green distribution point installed. My own experience was nearly three months waiting. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 28 2017, 12:15 PM) Just wondering if I'm the only one facing this issue in OCC. I noticed they have made some changes to their subpages. I just wanna check out my package after relocated to my sister's address and I clicked "Modify Bundle" and it directed me to a page which TM marketer will call me to offer me packages? I had the same situation early this morning.I wanna show my package, it just doesn't load. Anyway, praise them for simpler page to pay UniFi with credit cards. After press on "Modify Bundle", it will open new page to https://www.tm.com.my/singleboxslof/Pages/GetItNow.aspx , together with my details in it. As mentioned in checkbox, it stated "I understand that by clicking on the 'Submit' button, I am allowing TM to contact me on Broadband related information, updates and promotions. " before you submit it |

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 28 2017, 01:24 PM) Yes, and I cannot uncheck that box. After I checked and submitted, one tele-marketer will call me in 3 days. Oh well, I will them it's a mistake then. I am no idea too... want to check my current bundle package is not possible and it gone after upgrade to new speed. How do I check bundle now? Perhaps it will be good to give TM a call to check about it |

I just ended my Live chat session with TM to change my Aneka pack to Jumbo Lite Pack.
Accordingly to the TM representative, there will be one time charge RM5 for this change, the monthly fee remain as RM30 per month, since Aneka and Jumbo Lite are same price. He need to create a case for this swap, estimated will be completed within three working days and I shall be informed via SMS. To my surprise, he mentioned that this swap will renew my HyppTV contract to one year, but there will be no extra one year warranty for HyppTV box. Only if I renew Unifi contract, then all my equipment will get extra one year warranty. This post has been edited by soyusa: Jun 18 2017, 09:44 AM |

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jun 27 2017, 11:51 PM) Yup... aware of it, really WTF when notice someone can get 50Mbps with Jumbo hypptv package for RM159, so luckly! For me, I'm consider lucky to get 30Mbps (after free speed upgrade) together with Aneka HyppTV package for RM159. Since I already switched to Jumbo Lite (same price as Aneka), price remain the same but have to tie to one year HyppTV contract. |

QUOTE(cyberian @ Jul 11 2017, 02:16 PM) Recommended to renew the contract, then replace it for free.Else you may ended up like my bad experience in last year - RM300 for STB: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « ** I managed to get TM to cancel this charges via complaint as TM Technician told me it is FREE and no charges. |

QUOTE(doremon @ Jul 26 2017, 04:31 PM) What choice do I have. Minimum is Aneka. Cannot remove this Aneka Can't switch to other HyppTV package?Only Jumbo is RM60 per-month, while the rest - Aneka, Varnam, Sports, Ruby and Jumbo Lite are RM30 per-month. Maybe you need to voice out again to switch it. TM HyppTV Package |

QUOTE(doremon @ Jul 26 2017, 04:45 PM) Boss, I dont need Hypptv lah Oh okay... thought you may need to switch it.Since you are more in to internet line, whatever HyppTV package you get doesn't matter. QUOTE(danieltay @ Jul 26 2017, 05:04 PM) Second that, we already have Astro, not going to watch Hypptv, so why force us to take a piece of junk? Well.. I wish that HyppTV that can be removed too, but it is their TM decision that subscribe internet line must comes with HyppTV.Without hypptv, the cost is at least rm50 cheaper. Now Unifi Lite is the only choice, at a price point that is too high to take on. No HyppTV no internet line... they monopolize local market and we have no choice. |

QUOTE(danieltay @ Jul 26 2017, 05:14 PM) Tell that to people from other countries, they will laugh us off for being forced to take a piece of junk when subscribing internet! My Swedish colleague was surprise with our local Unifi package previously during casual talk. Anyway... we have to live with it until there is a new competitor on the market can make the change. |
